I posted on the tulpa reddit thread earlier but I wanted other opinions.

So i just started making my tulpa about a week ago. Ive been forcing every day but there were some very strange moments in the first couple of days. One time while forcing my tulpa, an image of a hyper realistic face flashed across my vision (my tulpa is from an animated show) and it kind of shocked me. I assumed it was nothing and tried to go back to it but all I saw was the image. My tulpa was only 2 or so days old at the time and I didnt think there was any way it could be sentient but it really scared me. It happened again 2 days ago but this time it was her face and it was bloodied up. That one kept me up for a good while. I guess my question is can tulpa's respond or interact with you using images? As far as I can tell she still cant speak but she keeps nudging me to change her name it feels like, (she started as molly, changed to sally, then to lily, and now to nadi). I just feel like it's way too early for her to be doing this.

On another note I was wondering if anyone has tried this game we play and if they met any success with trying it. So basically (it was her idea i think) I close my eyes and she leads me around my house. The whole goal is to try to do a lap around the house with her leading me without bumping into anything.

TLDR: my tulpa seems to interact with me through images, is that possible?

i just posted this in the wrong thread >.< can anyone delete it?

Yes, it's very possible. Before tulpa are vocal they have a variety of communication methods they can use to talk to you. Visual imagery is one, as well as feelings and head pressures.

As far as the bloody image goes, it could be a ton of different things depending on how you interpret it. Your tulpa could just be trying to scare you for laughs, or the thought could have originated from your mind as some sort of subconscious fear. But really, it's up to you as the host to figure these things out. Being analytical and questioning what exactly is going on in your head is a must when it comes to tulpa creation. Because if you know your mental state well, it will make communication between you and your tulpa easier and less stressful.

Name changes like you mentioned are also pretty common. I would have to say that almost every tulpa deviates at some point during the creation process; especially near the beginning. Your tulpa is probably deciding what name she likes best, and will probably take awhile before one sticks. If you're still not sure about it you can work on communication first, and then she can tell you what she prefers. But once again, it's up to you.

And I've never tried a game like that with my tulpa, sounds interesting though.

And then it cuts to a scene where you're sitting in a padded cell.

This is not a guide, it's a question. So I'm moving it to Q&A.

Anera: anime-style girl, ~12; Lyra made her
