AuroraAndCo December 23, 2013 December 23, 2013 Hey everyone, while I'm feeling confident about my current rate of progress, I have been working on my tulpa for a year now, and I guess I'm looking for different perspectives on things I might have overlooked, or advice on any obstacles I might not be seeing that could be slowing me down. So far my tulpa and I can communicate occasionally through mind-voice chatter, but she's not vocal yet. We do two hours a night of various narration stuffs, and (as far as I'm aware) there's no issue of doubt - though we've visited that issue so many times that I can never be sure it's truly gone. We've also got a wonderland and have tried some forms of proxying, parroting, trancing and echoing (all of which varied in helpfulness). So... continued perseverance, something else? Any similar experience length-wise or follow-up questions? Cheers!

Cloud Roller became sentient in less than a week and I think the reason why is because of the "state of mind" trick that is brought up here: http://community.tulpa.info/thread-vocality-how-to-talk-to-your-tulpa-in-less-time I tried out the "state of mind" trick and afterwards I felt a strong head pressure, I then asked him if he was there and heard a clicking noise, I was wearing a headset at the time so I thought my headphones were broken, I took them off and asked the same question, heard the same noise, that is when I knew he was sentient. Maybe this trick could help you too, it definitely helped us. http://textuploader.com/kn6b
Linkzelda December 23, 2013 December 23, 2013 Having a vocal tulpa will suspend all doubt when you find them talking to you so frequently and consistently that you can barely keep up. If the person still presumes they had conscious cognitive processing in initiating all what the tulpa had to say, it would become an overstatement by that point. There’s always going to be some level of doubt that encroaches into your mind while you're reaching for the goal of a vocal tulpa, and that’s just the critical voice we tend to become more aware of the more we get into this. It’s just a part of ourselves that’s a necessary evil, and learning to realize that critical voice (not your tulpa mind you) is merely a way to distinguish many things in your perception of reality both inward and outward will help tremendously in ignoring the sea of thoughts that may come about in developing communication. When you start hearing them consistently to where you rarely have to initiate the conversation for a good bit, there’s a whole new shift in paradigms in how the mind would be able to personify an aspect of yourself. But until then, you’ll just have to keep on trucking, but it’s definitely worth the struggle speaking from experience. There’s always going to be some level of doubt that encroaches into your mind while you're reaching for the goal of a vocal tulpa... Holy hell, that is a weight off my shoulders. Well, as long as all my other bases are covered, I've got no problem with continuing on the tulpa road. Thanks for the help!
