Romantic Relationships with Your Tulpa

Recommended Posts

Don't take this as an insult, but how many of you can still get into romantic relationships after creating tulpae? It seems like it would be hard to compete with what a tulpa can do.

I've had boyfriends before and during QB's lifetime. Totally normal and easy, it doesn't really change a thing. Your tulpa may comment on your relationship, of course, but any roommate would.

The above post does not contain facts.

q2's the host, QB's the tulpa.

I can definitely see how having a tulpa could change one's perception enough to not want to deal with the 90% crappy love-candidates. However I was lucky enough to find the perfect man for me. He knows about Dom and everything (seen my artwork/sculpture of him etc.) and actually really likes him. I gotta say though, in a strange way, I think Domnopalus is partially responsible for me picking up such an amazing man. Just being there, and being a perfect model of a personality, Dom helped me keep my standards way up and not let myself out up with the crap out there. In a very strange way, Dom has a lot of very similar aspects (particularly personality and body-build-energy) that are remarkably similar to my fiancé, even though Dom came first (and is a reptile horse thingy lol). I think Dom helped me realize what I was really looking for in a man and I got lucky enough to find someone who matched! I think tulpae can be fantastically beneficial in regards to this. They stand-in while you are single and make up fr what's missing, and they help you realize what you need and are looking for. And as far as I know, they don't get jealous once you've found who you're looking for (at least Dom isn't). Good stuff! And interesting point to bring up.

I'm Alanna, Domnopalus' host. Dom always speaks in brackets []

I honestly wondered about that for a while, but, I recently got into my first relationship since creating Khoja. She was actually a pretty big help, to be honest

Edit: not to be read as first relationship ever. I've had girlfriends before, but never with another friend living in my head

Ban me if I ever mention Telecasters again.

I never had any successful relationship before getting a tulpa. I still don't have one, expect for said tulpa, but now I'm not even bothered in the slightest. I have some issues I guess.

Why not?

I agree. You (Viceroy) are coming from the position that tulpae are not as "real" as humans, which I reject. Therefore, you naturally assume that tulpae cannot be a suitable replacement for other types of relationships. As for me, I consider myself to be bisexual, but after creating Ryouga some odd months back, I've started leaning towards asexuality. He's a horny devil sometimes, so maybe all of my lust has somehow manifested inside of him. I don't know really; it is unlikely though, to be honest.

Day 290 (11/6/2013) Why even keep the time anymore?

Can the cryogenically frozen live again?

The first step in creating a tulpa is believing that it exists.
