first experience.. have questions..

Red and i where practicing possession last night , and i felt red just stand me up like i was a action figure, and he said "don't you worry, i will be careful with your right leg" i kinda hurt my right leg some time ago, the pain comes and goes but it's not all that bad.. But red made my body do something i could never do in all my years of living, he made me backflip! i was in red's body but i was looking at my body like in a sort of real life/ in trinity veiw, like remote viewing kinda way, he/she also manipulated my body like a master puppet master, even stealing a kiss from my mom before going to bed.. red is very charismatic and sweet, and i am Mellow, kind, gentle and good tempered... well.. most of the times.. (i do have a temper as does red but we try to keep it on the friendly side) when red took my body to bed he said to me "this body.. is great! but this bed isn't as great as the beds in trinity. ah well, you enjoying my body ray?" i was kind of awe struck that he would kiss my mom... but since he/she is my kitty bro/sis i smiled and told him i was having a great time.

 

 

as for the questions...

 

i felt like i was.. kind of... there but not really there is that normal?

 

i also felt a little tingly and a little dizzy, but it passed after a few minutes

i guess i was getting used to red's psychic energy but i also felt that i was no longer concerned about the normal world since i saw trinity i was in paradise. (mind you i can go there any time i wish but mentally, like my soul is bound to there or something) do all wonderlands cause that to happen when you switch bodies?

 

a any rate red and i switched back but red wanted to stay in my body for a while longer... i promised him/her more time in it when next i meditate which is soon

Sounds consistent with my experiences. That's also pretty neat that your tulpa could make you do a backflip like that, I'm nowhere near that acrobatic.

An analogue that reminds me of this is a scene in Noragami where Yato possesses Hiyori's body in the OVA 1, and steamrolls another team in a soccer game.

 

 

If anyone watched the series, or could tell from Hiyori watching Yato play soccer, she probably wouldn't have the confidence or mentality to do that, along with the other things Yato did that was completely abnormal from her normal disposition. So to compare that with yours, I guess your tulpa didn't have to worry about mental restraints to pull off something like that.

 

I guess things like this gradually makes one question whether or not a tulpa is constrained by our own conscious (vs. what's goes on in the rest of our heads) means of collecting intelligence, and being competent in something; maybe our potential, or propensity to adapt to something like this (e.g. through implicit knowledge from someone else doing a back flip) is often undermined because we really can't quantify what our true competencies can reach. I guess epiphanies like this lets you have a moment of serendipity with your friend. Anyway, congratulations on the experience!

Well, I'm not exactly sure which parts of this you're worried aren't "normal", but your tulpa's ability to do things that you can't makes sense to me. I remember being at a sort of rave-type thing once and this song came on that Pinky really liked, so she asked if she could possess me and dance. I let her, and not only was her dancing style very different from mine, but I think she was much better at dancing in general. XD Later that night I let Sunray try it and a sort of similar thing happened. So... yeah, sounds a lot like your backflip story.

James and I aren't anywhere near ready to practice possession (if we ever will be), but I find this very interesting. Up until now I assumed that tulpa, when in our bodies, are confined to only the things that we can physically do. Of course they can't travel from China to the Moon in under a minute, but for smaller things like this, I guess it's the norm.

Up until now I assumed that tulpa, when in our bodies, are confined to only the things that we can physically do. Of course they can't travel from China to the Moon in under a minute, but for smaller things like this, I guess it's the norm.

 

I suppose it kind of depends on what's, say, knowledge of technique and what's physical ability.

 

Like, with the backflip, and my tulpas dancing, you could argue that it wasn't so much a limitation of the host's body as it was a limitation of the host's knowledge of a technique, which was why the tulpas were able to pull it off.

 

But, if a tulpa tries to do something that you just don't have the muscle for, then it might not work out so easily. For example, Kael is left-handed (while I'm right-handed). I'm not ready to do possession with him yet, but we have a feeling that he won't easily be able to use my left hand, because the sorts of connections between my brain and my left hand just don't exist like they do between my brain and my right hand. In that case, it would be more of a limitation of my body, we think. (Still, that'll be an interesting experiment once he's developed enough to try it.)

Hah, yeah, that would be easier. The "and company" bit just refers to my tulpas.

Yeah, it is interesting to experiment with. We're also quite curious as to whether or not Kael will be able to write with my left hand, but I think it'll be a while before we're able to try that out, though.
