Bringing it up in conversation as a nifty "thing" always seems to work. I talked to my boss about it once while we were both on lunch break. Just as a "theory that through strict mental practice, one can achieve communication to a form of our own subconscious; perceived as another sentient entity"

I know that is over simplifying and over complicating what a tulpa is all at the same time, but we still don't really know what tuppers really are; and there is the undeniable fact that they are tied to our subconscious at least in minor ways.

I really wanted to see how off the wall she thought it was. My store manager isn't one to really think about weird things to this scale. Surprisingly though, her reaction started out as "Wow that's weird!" Then I saw her really thinking about it, and her demeanor changed. She said how she thought it was totally possible, she was sure the human mind could be "trained" to function like that, but it would still be totally weird having another person in your head.

I've never mentioned that I have a tulpa to my boss. I don't think she would be comfortable with know that, so it was left as an interesting conversational idea.

I showed my fiance the site before I ever started Bud and asked her opinion. She mostly just wanted to make sure I was ready for the commitment of something that would take so much time and dedication to develop.
