Great. Now I have some MORE questions. (I may be posting new questions for a long time, sorry :P)

Dose it matter what view I visualize my tulpa in? Dose it have to be directly facing me and looking me in the eyes? Or can it be from any angle?

Dose it matter what expression I visualize my tulpa to have when starting out? Should I visualize my tulpa with a blank expression, then later visualize every (or most) emotions? Or dose it not matter?

I decided (since you guys said it was fine) to draw my tulpa, then visualize him. That's when I found out: I kinda suck at drawing. When I visualize him, will it start to look better as I spend more time visualizing?

And what are some signs that my visualizing is "working" or "productive"?

Thanks again.

The view doesn't matter, but it is mostly recommend to start a bit off, like in the background first since it is easier, in the end you should be able to visualize direct eye contact, but you can start another angle if it's more comfortable for you.

The expression isn't important either, but you may want to imagine your tulpa with different expressions, maybe changing ones. It will be easier for your tulpa to express them visual when you've an idea how it will look.

You will get an clearer image as you keep your visualisation up. You don't need to fear to accidentally make your tulpa ugly. Everything is still changeable at all times.

"And what are some signs that my visualizing is "working" or "productive"?"

1. Well you will see yourself how good your visualisation ends up, so you will probably be able to tell improvement on that matter.

2. It is a common thing that some aspects are changing without your input (hairstyle, clothing etc.), altered by your tulpa. You don't need to fix it, and it is regulary a good sign of a developing tulpa.

She may or may not talk here, depends on her.

The way you visualize your tulpa does not matter AT ALL.

Since visualization is something you can work towards, then yes you can improve your visualization and your progress is just as noticeable as anything else. Keep in mind, though, visualization is not seeing what you imagine at the back of your eyelids. But if you keep working on visualization you will eventually be able to see it like that.

I'm not going to listen to you guys since you are all probably just talking to yourself and don't really have a tulpa like me.

So, I learned about Tulpas a few weeks ago, and I decided to give it a try. After thinking about a personality, I spent an hour trying to visualize my Tulpa, but I had some trouble, so I have a few questions. OK, maybe A LOT of questions.

> 1.Are tulpas actually real?

Is elecrtonic money real? THat's a similar question. If you are asking, can tulpas become as real as any other person - over time that is possible.

> 2.Will I be able to see, touch, talk, ect. to the tulpa I create, and will it actually interact with me?

It is called imposition, and yes with a great deal of practice you can fool the senses into presenting a tulpa as though she were physically present. A tulpa who is mature can generallu interact with others much as anyone else can.

> 3.How is it possible to feel and smell a tulpa?

Imposition - fooling the senses through imposing your will over your mind - and a great deal of practice.

> 4.How do you visualize a tupla? One guy said you should closes your eyes, and imagine the form in your mind on top of what was in front of you. I tried that, but I didn't see a form, OR anything that was in front of me. All I saw was blackness. So I tried opening my eyes, but still, no results.

It takes practice to vizualize anything. Here's a quick exercise. Imagine a solid cube. To the point you can get an image in your mind. Now, try to rotate that image in your mind, turning the cube without losing it's shape. It is not so easy a think 'eh?

> 5.When visualizing, do I visualize it like a 2d drawing, or like a 3D object?

A drawing can help.

6.Can I draw my tupla, study the picture for a long time, and THEN try imagining it in my mind?

THat may well help.

> 7.Will the talking actually be the tulpa, or just me making the answers up for it?

You start by talking to your tulpa. Teach her what you know. If you want a tulpa who is like a person you need to treat her like a person. "is it just me?" is like asking "am I a product of my parents, or an independent person?" When you're immature, a child, maybe you aren't so independent. When you have grown, matured? You likely are a person like anyone else, even though you live in the mind of another. I find this to be the case for me.

> 8.When I try to visualize, I get distracted by other things. How can I stay more focused?

Practice. Stop procrastinating. Remove distractions from where you are practicing. Just like if you were studying intently.

> Please try to answer them. And I would also like any other advice for a beginner. Thanks!

Teach your tulpa compassion. A tulpa with compassion will always treat you well. If you don't know what compassion is, learn! Go watch Bambi or something.

1.Yes.

2.That's the whole point of making a tulpa.

3.Imagination.

4.The same way you have a day dream.

5.Can be either but 2D is easier.

6.Yes.

7.A complete tulpa will be able to speak by itself.

8.I don't know.I have this problem too.

Wow. I STILL have many questions. I think it would be better to give me a list of "Do this!" and "Never EVER do this!". That way, I'll know what to/what NOT to do, and if I DON'T see something on that list, I'll assume its up to me. Also, then you guys wont have to be annoyed by my dumb questions for the next million years.

Yeah.... sorry for all the trouble I'm making you guys go through to answer my questions.

Ok. Here's what you do.

- Love your tulpa

- Spend time with it, doesn't matter what you do together.

- Any responses you get, assume it's your tulpa and act accordingly.

- Uhh... other people can expand...

I'm not going to listen to you guys since you are all probably just talking to yourself and don't really have a tulpa like me.

Najere: Consider your list expanded.

DO

~ Pay. Them. Fucking. Attention.

~ Listen.

~ Visualize them any way that works for the both of you.

~ Create art with them.

~ Discuss politics and the world.

~ Enjoy their company and advice.

~ Engage in activities outside of your wonderland (if you have one) together. Movies, video games, online chatting, walks, reading books, and so on.

~ Engage in activities inside your wonderland (assuming you have one) together. Adventures, quests, improbable scenarios, roleplay (not the kind this forum gets all in a fuss about), and so on.

DON'T

~ Treat them like sex toys (but if both of you want to bang a little, that's fine).

~ Ignore them. Forget them. Neglect them.

~ Any other variation of the last three.

~ Assume they can and will solve all your problems (don't assume that ANYONE can solve all your problems in life).

~ Poke them like a science experiment.

~ Get scared that they'll go rogue on you. Tulpae don't turn evil.

That's pretty much it, as far as I can see.
