When I visualize my tulpa, I know that real me is just sitting quietly so tulpa and me feels different. Is astral projection required??

I think you're asking how to experience your tulpa more realistically. There are a couple of ways:

A. Lucid dreaming and similar. It works about the same dreams usually do, except that you're aware you're in a dream and can control it to some degree. You can experience your tulpa like this about as realistically as any dream. There are a bunch of ways to try and induce this. Some can get similar effects from hypnosis or meditation as well.

B. Imposition. This is seeing your tulpa in the real world while fully awake and doing things in real life. You can experience an imposed tulpa with any or all senses, including a sort of weird simulated solidity, though obviously they'll never be able to truly move physical objects or break your fall. There are a bunch of guides and tips for how to achieve this, but many find it difficult to manage and it can take time and effort.

Well heck, if you can do astral projection, why not have a go at that while tuning in yer tulpa!

You should meditate to help forget your body and then try to immerse yourself in your visualization. It's not too hard to forget about your body if you're in a comfortable position and environment and spend some time visualizing stuff. Though you may float around in third person seeing your actual imagined self along with your tulpa, so you gotta get used to that.

My tulpas and I have a Q&A thread, which was the first (and largest) of its kind. Feel free to ask us about tulpamancy stuff there.

You could try this guide out:

If this question is related to practicing how to have your tulpa feel what it is to be you. Like them having some kind of simulation of internal, private experience that may hopefully become just as unique as your own, I think. I'm hoping to aim for half a day of image streaming, but it might be a while from now. In theory, the practice I mentioned above would entail describing what's going on in your mind to the point where you could have an easier time shifting to certain levels of awareness while they shift somewhere else (e.g. switching with the body). But, this is all just theory.
