How long did it take for your tulpa to emerge?

Just as it says. How long did it take for your tulpa to form inside your mind and subsequently communicate with you in a clear, unambiguous way? Please be honest. I'm forcing under the assumption that the average is three weeks to a month.

Well, Meti as a concept was developed five months ago, but then I fucked off and lazed about for four of them. She was on the backburner of my mind for that time, though still frequently thought about.

So there was a large period of inactivity on both of our parts, but when I did it actively and really put effort into it it took a few weeks for her to first do things.

How was it that you were first able to tell that it was her doing or thinking things, and not just yourself?

I think the average is closer to two months. People have been getting very fast results on this site recently.

 

I'd post, but given I was forced accidentally, and spent a very long time unrecognised as a tulpa, I'd skew the results no matter when I set my birthdate.

The fast results make me skeptical. One person said that his tulpa emerged after only 1 hour of forcing! That HAD to be a puppeting thing and not an actual sentient being.

 

Off-topic question: are you based on another already-existing character that may be somewhat or well-known? Because I was watching this video and what looks like your profile picture swoops down at 0:29. I was so surprised when I saw that!

Nope. I'm based on a species of look-a-like shapeshifters. In a very famous franchise. Of cute ponies.

 

Not necessarily. There are two situations that can result in extremely fast thoughtforms that I know about. Splitting, and walk ins. But both I think require unusual cognition that most people do not have.

How much work would you say you were putting into her prior to that? What kind of forcing methods did you like to use?

I would force during work because I stand it one spot and pack boxes. I would just consistently talk to her the entire time about whatever came to mind. I work 36-48hrs a week.

 

I only actually did maybe 3 hours active forcing total.
