Surprised. Thought nobody posted here anymore. Last time I was here was 2013 I think. How’s it going?

 

But yeah, there was a lot of drama. I particularly remember the community being drawn along three schools or lines of thought. There was the metaphysical, the believers of true sentience, and the school of Fede (or Tulpa’s being a forced hallucination.) I myself, controversially, was a follower of Fede’s theories and still largely subscribe to them today. I did a lot of stupid shit on this forum, but I was young. The past can’t be changed, alas, so I must live with it. I suppose we were our own version of semi-cringe pioneers in a field unexplored by western society.  
 

 

 

Maybe you could give me the rundown on what the community looks like today?

If I may interject, I am personally responsible for the lion's share of drama here in the recent past, but not in 2020, it was pretty quiet. I managed to piss off most of the elder materialist mancers in 2018/19.

 

Mistgod came back for a little while in 2019 before Vos upheld his permanent ban again.

Drama continued around here in different forms the whole time I spent here. It's just that 2012-13 drama was different than 2014-15 drama, etc, because the community had changed. It's something I have come to expect from a community of this nature. But hell, all communities have some form of it.

 

Didn't expect to see @Sorryman54 pop up, either. What got your attention?

 

Maybe we should make an Oldfags thread if we want to continue this, rather than get too deep in unrelated conversation inside of a PR...

@Kiahdaj funnily enough, I got an email for this thread saying a post had been made. I was intrigued, so I decided to post. It’s been very nostalgic. I’m surprised there’s so many oldfags still active, somewhat. As stated above, an oldfags thread would be fun but there’s something timeless about a bunch of weirdos reminiscing in a thread titled “Edgy Sadists PG13+”. Maybe I’m just biased.

 

 

@Piņki Lmao, I wasn’t expecting that. I had forgotten about that Pastebin. I may as well hadn’t quit smoking cigarettes and just enjoyed them, because that pastebin gave me cancer anyways. Did you ever spend time in the #tuppers channel? I wonder whatever happened to Sands, the farts and the cat.

Since we haven't heard from FAQ_Man in a couple of years, my family is probably one of the eldest now. I know _Irish is still alive, but it's probably a year since I talked with him.

You can find _Irish in the Tulpa Nexus Discord server, I heard that's where he was last.
