What’s the most unethical thing someone could do to a tulpa?

Not asking to try to promote it, just want to know what you guys think the worst thing to do/say to a tulpa is, since alot of people say “oh its unethical to make them for xyz reason” It could kind of put into perspective how not bad that is in comparison to other things

I don’t know about MOST unethical, but I personally think that forcing tulpas to do anything they’ve expressed that they don’t want to do or be someone they don’t want to be is bad. Generally just pushing boundaries is a no-no, for ALL headmates including the host. For example, forcefully continuing a romantic relationship when Tulpa expresses that they don’t want to be in a relationship

as much as it sounds like there should be specific examples, I really do think just anything they're not consenting to, abusing people in your own head is not exactly conducive to good mental health

I don't think there's much (if any) difference compared to ordinary people. Think of bad things that you shouldn't do to any ordinary person. You shouldn't do that to tulpas either.

It seems everyone has the same consensus: no consent ≠ bad

 

Now, this may be a tad bit controversial, but I think that most things are fine if both parties are consenting. If a host creates a Tulpa for intimate purposes, and the Tulpa still enjoys being intimate, than I don’t think there’s any problem with that! If you create a Tulpa to do any undesirable tasks, and you’re okay if they decide they don’t want to do that anymore, then go ahead! The only thing I can think of off the top of my head that I believe is always bad no matter what even with consent is purposefully putting a Tulpa through significant emotional pain for the sake of pain

 

I also want to restate that hosts have boundaries too!! And it is equally bad for a tulpa to force or pressure a host to do something they don’t want to do as vice versa

Ethics depend on one's values system, so no two people are going to agree because we all have different values.

 

As a tulpa, the worst thing I can imagine is watching my host destroy our body or our life for no reason.

I can't speak on the sex thing. We have a lot of internalized insecurity around sex, we won't say anything productive on that

 

However, I do agree that you can make a cobud to help you with something as long as you're open to them saying, "no". At that point, you really just want a cobud, and I feel that's a good reason to make one.

 

You also don't have to make a cobud for that and use a servitor instead, but then things get complicated. In short, you can make a servitor, but only if you're already comfortable doing the task. Otherwise, you're opening yourself up to a bunch of problems.
