How and why did you choose your tulpa(e)'s name?

I chose the name Noel because it's adorable, and is also the same name as the character I used to main as in Blazblue.

I didn't choose. Kai told me his name literally the day I started working on him. Since I was paranoid, I double checked a few days later to make sure it wasn't just a thought (since I liked the name anyway) and confirmed it. He has a last name too; Valentine.

Scoot comes from a little knit black cat I have on my desk.

"Latias" is just a placeholder until she is capable of choosing her own name.

All my tuppers retain their names from the respective series they originated from. An exception is the colorful range of names for Pinkie's forms, but I still like to call them all "Pinkie".

 

I wanted to use the name Marmaduke for something because I liked the shape of it, so why not a duke who will stay in my head for the rest of my life? Sounds pleasant enough to annoy me later on, also classy and it fits his diaper oh god I'm cumming. And if I ever mentioned the location of my Pampers rationnaire by name among those who don't know where it is, Duke would raise his dong ohhhh,

Shai's first temporary name was Shy, then when we went to IRC the first time she decided to change the spelling of it. It still was temporary but now she's taken such a liking to it that it's going to stay.

 

Shai asked Telk about wether she should name him but he said "You can call me Telk."

In both cases the tuppers chose their names, Yuna through slamming me with an emotion surge when I was running through names with her, and Kaiasha through conversation.

I don't even remember what Jaden's temporary name was. I don't think I wrote it down anywhere, probably because I didn't like it either. I remember forcing and knowing he wanted that "A" sound in his name..Jacob, Aiden, Kaden...It took a while of searching before I saw "Jaden" pop up and everything just clicked.

 

Giselle was originally Emmy(named by Jaden) but she wanted a more 'lovely' name...She gravitated towards princess names--odette, fiona, giselle, ariel, etc. Giselle was the winner!
