Knapp June 6, 2012 Share June 6, 2012 How would having "conflicting" personality traits (such as 'shy' and 'talkative' or 'skeptical' and 'accepting') work with your Tulpa? Would one cancel out the other completely? Or would it be not be as X because of Y? Or would it be more X at one situation, and more Y at another? I apologize in advance if I sound like an idiot. tulpatalk June 6, 2012 Share June 6, 2012 I'm doing this. For example: "Relaxed / Entergetic". I put this, akong with other affecting traits like "polite" so that the tulpa can behave differently in different situations, like a living human. Charlotte June 6, 2012 Share June 6, 2012 Yeah you can do that, just have in the back of your mind when and how the traits would be active and when the others would be inactive, like hypotetical situations and whatnot. This hot empty painting should be locked and towed.
FigN01 June 6, 2012 Share June 6, 2012 It would be a good idea to stay flexible regardless. If you get the feeling that a certain trait no longer describes your tulpa once it's become more established in personality, don't try to force the trait. Your tulpa will probably end up gravitating toward one over the other after awhile, which would be more natural for a person to do. Which trait is expressed also depends on context.
