So, just downloaded a new soundtrack (guess which one) which came with a song where the lyrics reminded me of tulpae. At least to me and Saphira anyway, or any of those dragon tulpae and hosts out there :)

what do you guys think? for me it's almost word to word accurate. It touched our hearts anyway :'3

I listened to a lot of Metallica in my teenage years, but I haven't heard much lately. A few days ago,

came on while I was driving my girlfriend home from work. I knew all the lyrics, but didn't make the tulpa connection until that moment.

 

Turns out the song kinda is about tulpas -- it was inspired by Magic, in which a magician/ventriloquist is unable to stop his dummy from ruining his life. You can definitely see elements of tulpas and possession in it, though it's more like a creepypasta than a plausible tulpa story.

A good example of this for me is

One of my favorite tracks of all time. I was listening to it earlier today when Sabari wondered if the artists had a head ghost. And listening to it, yeah, every single lyric reminds me of my head ghosts. So now the song has a deeper meaning to me.
