I agree completely. DID/MPD is nothing to consider interesting and it is an extremely life-changing and life-destroying condition in some cases. It's even sort of rude to imply that having "more than one" personality is interesting.

It's not fun to have a tulpa who wants to kill you one second and then loathes its existence the next. Mental illness is fun for no one.

The reason a tulpa would go through hating it's existence is a clear sign of what the host's mind thinks in general, or at least a part of what their mind thinks. It's as if people just suddenly forget that if they have a tulpa with that kind of problem, it's clearly something the host has to communicate with them about, but some hosts just don't have the knowledge, or at least learning how to be empathetic to understand that tulpa's position. And how one can go about doing that, it's really about coming to terms with yourself and your tulpa in several ways (dreaming or just talking things out).

Personally, the more people give this implication of separate consciousness with a sentient and sapient being, it's like they're slowly forgetting they as hosts are the sustenance the tulpa needs to learn how to get over those conflicts with themselves. The nightmares and those cases with people who had tulpas that looked scary and the host spending months to get rid of them, it's personally just part of themselves they're too afraid to admit and try to compromise with. They end up being at war with themselves and then warn others not to make a tulpa, because they weren't strong enough. One worst case scenario, and it automatically becomes an endemic for others.

People are so prone to being fragile by the slightest scary anecdotes of others who had conflicts with their tulpa, when they could've realized the only enemy is their negative perception on the experience. I guess people just have to be used to the nightmares and everything that goes on in their minds in the first place to truly understand what it is to appreciate their own existence before they worry about making another life/complex personality/etc. into their reality.

I don't see why you would want your tulpa to have multiple personalities, its kinda not a good disorder to actually have. In the OP's case he may be worried about his tulpa gaining DID, which isn't exactly pleasant. What if the alternate personality turns out to be quite unhinged and goes out if its way to harm the host and the dominant personality's body. You have to consider the risks and the fact that i have met nobody who enjoys having a mental illness. So no, it won't be more interesting that way, just more stressful.

I don't know, I kinda find it interesting for tulpae, but it's not like the second personality is OH SO DIFFERENT from the other, it's just slightly different, and I don't think someone would make their tulpa a hatefull personality, unless it's an accident. Then I agree it can be very problematic..

Blue fur, pink mane, red eyes.

And this "interesting" idea of yours would be a very confusing and frightening experience for a tupper as well. Gotcha. All that matters is that the host thinks it's interesting and the tupper doesn't hurt the host in any way. Not like the tupper's life would suffer or anything.
