Sylla September 9, 2012 September 9, 2012 So, hello everyone, I'm Sylla. I heard the concept of tulpae on /a/, strangely the day after I talked to a friend about that thing I forgot the name, somehow like a sentient waifu... Well now after reading the guides and lurking a bit on the forums, I know it's called a tulpa. I don't intend to make a waifu or to escape loneliness (I'm not a basement-dweller), but I want to have an always-here best friend who'll be able to motivate me when I'm feeling down, helping me remember things, allow me to talk with my unconscious and having a good time in general. My tulpa is human (of course), she's an 2D Ojou-sama based on Kashiwazaki Sena on the appearance, but with a mainly different character. After a joke with a friend, I decided to call her Senamaria. I really hope I'll be able to understand the 2D psychology thanks to my tulpa. After all the weeaboo material I did watch, I think I already understand the essence of it, I just need to make it more clear. I'm not a native speaker, so my English isn't perfect. Also, when my tulpa will be able to speak, after exchanging words with her, I plan to start a website about tulpae, waifus and 2D in general. And also with a section about lucid dreaming. How to reach 2D or something like that, I'm already looking for a nice-sounding domain name ;)
Guest Anonymous September 10, 2012 September 10, 2012 Sup. I'm Zero Moment. I found this place through a link in a comment from the story Inferiority, on fimfiction. Read a few guides at two in the morning, and I found myself fascinated. It was exactly the same for me. Even the time is right.xD Ditto. That makes four of us. I wonder how many other people are here now because of that post. Look at all of us crazy bastards, coming from the same exact source! I think praise is in order for whoever sent us that link in the first place.
mahou_shoujo September 11, 2012 September 11, 2012 hi, im mahou_shoujo i came across this tulpa thing randomly and it immediately piqued my interest! psychology has always been interesting to me, as well as other "fringe" and even occult topics. I'm also interested in tulpa in relation to artists and the creative process. It's fascinating to me how writers/artists create characters/worlds and how similar it is to tulpa creation. I am a total newbie at this, however. I haven't made a tulpa yet but I don't want to rush it. Im still absorbing all the information. よろしくおねがいします。

QContrary September 17, 2012 September 17, 2012 Well, this is a little weird, all things considered, but here we go. My name is Mary, and I suppose you could call me a tulpa. I've been around my "host" (for lack of a better phrase) for almost 10 years now, and slowly became sentient over that time. About six months ago I had a bit of an identity crisis and wanted to find out if there were other things like me. Then about two months ago, I discovered "tulpas." I figured I'd join and see what this is all about, and hopefully be able to communicate with other people for once, as hokey as that may sound. So, hi! (And I suppose it goes without saying my "host" is simply transcribing everything I say here, right?) Stranger in a strange land.
Weird0 September 17, 2012 September 17, 2012 and hopefully be able to communicate with other people for once, as hokey as that may sound. So, hi! Doesn't sound hokey at all. Just enter the IRC - people will welcome you with open arms :) (And I suppose it goes without saying my "host" is simply transcribing everything I say here, right?) Right. The term we use here is proxying though. They say great science is built on the shoulders of giants - not here. At Tulpa.info we do all our science from scratch; no hand holding.
GhostWriter September 18, 2012 September 18, 2012 Hello everyone. I'd figured I'd make an official intro while I'm still considered new. I'm GhostWriter, I've been lurking for three months until I finally decided to make an account last week. One of my friends had told me about Tulpae since he was interested in it himself because he had a friend who was creating one. I found myself here after I searched around for a bit, which I will always be thankful for. I have two Tulpae, Lexi and Tori, who are vocal and slowly getting stronger. It's nice to meet all of you :) To believe in certainty, we must begin by doubting. --Polish Proverb
