I don't know if this had been posted before, but I've been visualizing alot lately but I still can't see Pinkie Pie. Am I doing something wrong? I stare into space and close my eyes, visualizing, but I still don't have a sign of anything working. please help

If you’re talking about imposition, as in hardcore imposition with visualization and other sensory perceptions, it depends. I would personally suggest that doing mind’s eye visualization beforehand can be a useful supplement in knowing how to transcend whatever active imagination you see with your eyes closed, and hopefully to your actual perception of reality.

Now, if you’re talking about mind’s eye visualization, that’s just involves hard work in improving your cognition in general, just like everyone has to do at some point to make a breakthrough. Some people get lucky, and their dreams in particular becomes a useful resource in conceptualizing how to visualize and see their tulpa (both in closed eye and opened eye visualization).

But if you’re talking about the rate in which one will see their tulpa if they only utilize waking life tulpa-related activities with no supplementary aid of their dreams and what have you, it might take a bit longer. The reason being behind my presumption on this is that if one is accustomed to seeing vivid detail (or any detail for that matter) in their non-lucid and lucid dreams with thought-forms, it may contribute to having a better and potentially quicker time in seeing their tulpa in their perception of reality.

But again, you also have to take into consideration of developing overall cognition, since if you can’t train your mind to do whatever it does to make all the breakthroughs we’re trying to discover and explain through many scientific standpoints (mostly psychological though) as we can, it’s unlikely one will have a productive time making results.

TL;DR: The bottom line, it varies.

Think of a chair. Can you "see" the chair? That's your mind's eye working. Or think of how someone looks. Can you think of the details of that person? Same thing.

You can also practice mind's eye visualization by reading. Do you ever "see" what's happeneing in the story as you're reading? That's mind's eye too.

oh! I have been using my mind's eye! xD Everyday I can visualize her, with my eyes opened, and closed. One problem though. She's almost invisible, like an imaginary friend. When/how does she become truly visible?

And when does she do things on her own, etc.? I'm not talking exactly when it happens, but when it usually happens. About the time it happens.

Imposition could take anywhere from 2 months to a couple years. Perhaps shorter or longer because there's no exact time-frame, or average time that it takes for imposition ( Someone should tally it up to find out though ). And her being sentient has the same unknown properties as imposition, though her gaining sentience is very often thought of as much easier than imposition. I recommend taking a look at some introductory guides, like, as many guides as you can.

'Sentience' is generally achieved somewhere in the general ballpark of a month or two, but of course it varies wildly. Don't worry to much about it, though. If you worry and become too self-conscious about it than it could make things even harder. Although either way you're young and kids your age tend to have a really easy time during early development.

Also, make sure you understand the difference between visualization and imposition.
