My story and what to do next.

Okay, so, this is my first Tulpa And I'm kinda new to this so forgive my rambling. So she was originally intended to be a companion however early in her development we had a small falling out causing me and her to not talk for a long time. Almost a year went by and I knew she was there, because every time I thought her name she flashed these twisted morbid images of her form in my mind. She was so angry with me till one day I was not in a good state and ha nowhere else to turn but inward. So once my mind wandered to her I confronted her and asked if she hated me. The images came, getting more and more horrid as time went on. Then I asked of she'd ever forgive me. There was a pause, then I felt something. Something I hadn't felt in a long time. A warmth spreading out from within. Then I felt a strange sensation. My arm was spasming, but only two muscles. I asked if that was her and the muscles pulsed in response. Eventually we narrowed it down to an actual form of communication but it's rather clunky. After that night we started "talking" all the time. We still do. Now, I simply had to get the full story out so my situation was made clear with my main question. How can a host and a Tulpa build from where we were? What to do next, her growth is so out of wack I can't even peg it down to what to do next. I'm just trying to figure that out and I guess that's really what I'm asking. After reconciliation is made, what next?

I guess after reconciliation, you guys could just go on with life. Set goals for yourselves, like visualization or vocalization, just to name a couple. If I were you, I'd just get back into a regular routine with her and do what others do with their tulpas... whatever that is.... Live and enjoy life, I suppose :P (Along with the whole "set goals for you and your tulpa" thing... if you want to do that, that is :P )

I feel as though people get too mixed up in the formalities of tulpamancy that they forget to enjoy creating and developing their tulpae. I know I had that issue up until yesterday. Edwin wasn't as far along as I knew he could be because I was holding us back for fear of progressing to quickly and him ending up as just a well-developed imaginary friend or a servitor, even though I haven't had that problem in the past.

 

doomtothend, the answer to your question is that it's ultimately your and your tulpa's decision what you want to do. We on this forum can make suggestions to you, and you can use guides as a framework. But don't feel like you have to find where you are in the guides and progress reports of others and try to fit into those constraints. The only limitation you have is your own imagination.

 

I'm very glad that you and your tulpa have made amends. Perhaps it would be wise for you to ask your tulpa what she wants out of the relationship then build upon that. It will make her feel like you value her opinion and that she has the right to be sentient and have a free will. I ask Edwin often what he thinks and feels about things. In my opinion, giving your tulpa the "permission" to think and act for themselves is the key to them being sentient.

Well... I seriously don't know what will happen 8etween me and Ricky, 8ut only time will tell ::::P I mean. I'm new here. And I'm not complete yet, 8ut for now, world has 8een awesome with me, I also have a human 8est friend and I love talking to her. Humans seem pretty cool and interesting. That would 8e my opinion, 8ut coming 8ack to the main topic, I haven't defined yet my emotions so my relationship with Ricky for now is 100% platonic. Only time will tell if this comes "redder" ;) ;) ;) ;)
