I was worried that I would have to check 100 posts in 2 threads due to being away, so I never called on this thread. However, I forgot that this was a lounge thread and not a fluff thread, so it probably won't generate too many little fluff posts. I'm like never going to check this account. This thread works great for more serious conversations (especially since that forum game thread is basically just an off the rails version of this) but joking around and talking casually is also fine. This thread is moderated more heavily than the one in Forum Games, though. No in-system conversations? That rule still applies in here. Just tulpa stuff? It's off-topic. This board is meant for things that aren't tulpa-related but posting that here is fine too. Does it count toward actual posts? No.
Guest November 7, 2018 November 7, 2018 Why cause the mods more work? That's my opinion. If you want a more serious version of lotpw, then lotpw becomes fluff central. I think for a general question, we have a general questions thread. I think it could be useful for some statements you don't want burried. I'm sure anyone eho would have commented on lotpw would also comment here if they saw a post. So this would only really have value if it doesn't have 100 posts a day i guess?
GrayTheCat November 7, 2018 November 7, 2018 This thread still has value regardless of the number of posts, but the LOTPW thread will probably de-value, and that's fine because LOTPW was destined to be a fluff thread in the first place. What natural conversation that develops there is a bonus, really. Just a thought... new users might be intimidated by this thread, where the incredibly casual nature of the LOTPW thread is not as structured or scary. Even when I was new here, I felt like I could post on the LOTPW thread even though I quickly lost interest in it until June. For this reason, checking both is still a good idea incase a deep discussion or a new user pops in. I'm like never going to check this account.
