Maybe someone should make a Research thread to document tests on this sort of thing, along with survey questions attached to each response to see if the host's idea of what a tulpa is will impact their response.

This is a great idea. I don't think I can pull that sort of thing off, but if someone can, I definetly would support them to do so.

Sometimes, just thinking about my tulpas gives me the tingles. I've never had such a "high" experience before their existence, so my tulpas trigger ASMR for me? Anyway, I haven't tried doing possession before, so I'm not sure how they'd react to it themselves, but they know when I'm experiencing it, so they probably know the feeling.

I have 10 tulpas, but I'm only actively working on Reah, my first tulpa currently.

Progress Report

Let us know if you ever try possession/switching and experience ASMR in that state. We'd be happy to read your report.

I'm not familiar with ASMR, but I was wondering the other day how an MRI would look during switching compared to normal... That could almost be kind of a scientific proof of tulpae existance.

Crap forgot to do this. Give me like 12 hours...

Also, I wonder if someone who was really good at audio imposition or some such could experience ASMR from their tulpa. I think some people get reactions like goosebumps, shivers or what have you, but I dunno if any of that qualifies as ASMR.

Hi! I'm Lumi, host of Reisen, Tewi, Flandre and Lucilyn.

Everyone deserves to love and be loved. It's human nature.

My tulpas and I have a Q&A thread, which was the first (and largest) of its kind. Feel free to ask us about tulpamancy stuff there.

That's also an amazing idea. Can the brain get tingles by itself? Maybe it can.

Dimitrov can impose white noise.

It's pretty... weird.

..This is a bit off topic, but, have you ever asked him why he does that?

Oh. I just saw audio imposition from a tulpa, and since we're not really into ASMR, Dimitrov felt like contributing a bit, so he just imposed some white noise for a bit, which made me want to post that.

He says "Master, this is the sound of the universe! This is how it feels like for a star to be born. Yes, sir, dwell into the galaxy." But he only says that to be poetic. White noise helps us focus.
