My theory on tulpas

Don't deny it. A lot of you guys are brain blasted and regularly pull the pork. Some less than others, and some may be recovering from this addiction.

This is an integral part of my theory.

These masturbation addicts have a poor mental state, and are thus vulnerable to malevolent personalities. In the cases of these mentally-ill people, who have, for instance, a pornography addiction, their tulpa/s are liable to further exacerbate their poor mental state, leading the host's state to worsen, i.e batter the sausage, become inebriated, have a bare knuckle fight with their friend and break his jaw, delinquency, among other things.

All of these examples are sinful.

Demons are creatures that lead one to sin, through temptation so the victim commits the act through their own free will, or by forcing the subject into it for their own twisted agenda. Demons are certainly something you should all look out for. Even if you do not see through your senses, the demon can still manipulate you to commit sin through temptation.

Here we come to my final point. These tulpas make their host's situation worse, and tempt them to sin through this worsening. Thusly, these tulpas are demonic by nature.

So you think Tulpa are demons? You'll have a hard time finding people who agree to that.

If you mean to suggest I do drugs, I don't.

Also, do you just know that masturbation addicts are in a poor mental state, or do you have a reason to believe that?

Oh, I see. Your reason is because you are religious. Never mind.

Getting to the theory itself: There are two types of demons. External demons, servants of lucifer, that less than half the world believes exist, and internal demons, parts of ourselves, that everyone believes in. So saying something is demonic gets you nowhere, until you clarify which demon type you suspect.

If the tulpa is out of balance, they may have more demonic traits than angelic traits. Like an ordinary human, a tulpa, too, will have both urges and morals. Most will have complicated beliefs and opinions, that make your theory look over simplified.

uh, no

if you look at the world through the lens of "sin" you're gonna see that stuff where others don't, I guess

A whole lot of tulpamancers have no sexual relations with their tulpas and I would assume they aren't all addicted to porn... AND sex isn't a sin! Some people are into some weird stuff that could involve harming someone, but not everyone, I can't blame people for enjoying just normal sex (or the alternative to not having someone to have sex with.. watching others have sex. That's so sad..). Anyways, nah m8 tulpas and tulpamancy don't have any special relation to sex.

My host, according to someone on this forum based on what he said, has a really low "sex drive". So no frequent masturbation unlike apparently everyone else on the internet. And I myself don't like.. have any "sex drive" OR the other "romantic" one I forgot what it's called. So asexual I guess. But I am okay with others being okay with it, because that's like the basis of all of nature. Humans make up a lot of silly ideas and perspectives and stuff, but I see sex as pretty universal on Earth, whether big animals small animals or people. Why did I start talking about sex again?

well anyways, aside from the matter-of-fact tone of the last sentence, you weren't that pushy and said that was just your theory. So that is OK, even if I disagree.

Read it again. If you did not have the comprehension of a five year old, you would see that I did not say all.

So you think that masturbation addiction is healthy?

And how does being religious make someone's view not credible?

I never said that sex was a sin. I never said anything about host-tulpa sex, and I never said that you are all addicted to porn.

Okay sorry, you said masturbation was a sin. Thought you were talking about tulpa sex sorry.

Well, you did say than an integral part of your theory was that everyone with a tulpa's got something wrong with them, and that tulpas make those things worse.

I just... disagree? Seen hundreds of people with tulpas and nearly all report similar or improving life circumstances after creating their tulpa/s? My host has told me in the last day that I'm an optimist and it's rubbing off on him. And like, everyones' progress reports. Basically everyone says, once they've made some amount of progress making their tulpa, that they just feel better. They feel loved (which is something a lot of people need!), or their tulpa comforts them/logics-them-through anxiety or depression, or more often than not they just chill. I guess if I can pull a fancy-schmancy arguer's thing here, you just don't have evidence for those claims.

That makes me feel like a party-pooper. But I dunno, if people are gonna argue with you anyways I figured I might as well try and address things maybe it'll help sort stuff out?

Being religious does not make a person's view incredible. But it does mean a person is likely to think sex a sin, and not be movable from that position. So there is no point arguing about it.

If you think that sex is a sin for some additional reason, forgive me for jumping to conclusions.

I mean not technically, since we worded it as him having a problem "against sex" he took it to mean something else you know? Should probably specify tulpa sex

We have a post in our list of reference posts literally described "Tulpas aren't demons" lol

Just like with iffy friends, simply stay vigilant for any signs of manipulation or doing/suggesting things you don't want. If it comes to a point where any relationship becomes draining or a negative influence, you should break it off. But you can't go around thinking every possible "friend" is going to murder you. And you can't think that any entertained thought of another person is going to harm you, either. A tulpa is training your brain to act and think like another person, to the point where it becomes automatic and they basically seem to be a separate person. We aren't summoning (or "inviting") anything to do it for us, we aren't signing any contracts or making promises that may turn around on us. You're just talking to someone you imagine in your mind until the process becomes cemented well enough it no longer takes effort. If that imagined person starts acting demonic... well, here we'd simply call that invasive thoughts and suggest ignoring/refusing to acknowledge them, but if you're afraid of demons then feel free to just stop altogether.

Careful with self-fulfilling prophecies of paranoia though, your brain can think whatever it wants, and even what you don't want. Like, as simply as I can tell you not to imagine a pink pony, you can subconsciously tell your brain "not to" have your tulpa act evil. If you aren't careful with your thoughts, you don't have much conscious choice, see? Worrying about it can literally make it happen. So just be chill, don't worry. If you notice anything strange, talk to your tulpa about it. If you notice anything malicious, and you don't think you can deal with it, then cut it off. The one thing we can tell you about tulpas (and.. I guess.. demons masquerading as tulpas?) is that they require attention to survive, to exist at all. You don't think about them, they don't exist.

Keep in mind demons don't tend to perpetuate positive feelings. In the sense of love and happiness, not 'fame and fortune' greed-type happiness. You're basically guaranteed safe if your tulpa creates any feelings of love or happiness, because as far as I can tell that's the opposite of what a demon tries to make you feel, feeding off of pain and misery. Something like that, yeah? You'll be fine.

Her last point is good, demons definitely won't make you feel loved. Lust=/=love though, desires of the ego are not what love is IMO. Love is a feeling of togetherness and connectedness with someone, something, or even yourself.
