idk why you bother to say that only "some" tulpas are "demonic in nature". Like, it's my theory that certain types of people in the world are absolute jerks and like to make other people suffer and so these humans are demonic in nature. Like, ok. Not so much a statement on humanity as much as those specific people, who are also a small minority.

to throw you a bone, the types of thoughtforms you are referring to are not common here on tulpa.info. Most thoughtforms here (even non-tulpas) are pretty benevolent. But lots of other communities (especially similar but non-tulpa ones) are much more prone to thoughtforms that don't always have good intentions.

Nearly everyone I see here with experience in thoughtforms like that came from somewhere else. We dunn produce demon tuppers here.

Also I've heard about "daemons" but I hear they're not so bad themselves

I, for one, welcome our new demon overlords.

May our screams pierce the eternal night, and may our blood drown the world.

Daemons is a word from computer science from a physics experiment for background processes, and by analogy, background thought processes, and although they come from the same root as inner demons, should be considered a separate thing.

I don't think tulpas are innately demonic in nature, although I can see how and why some beliefs may find issue with the original tulpa concept, and not necessarily what said concept has metamorphosed into.

While the majority of tulpas appear benevolent, it is apparent some are primed for aggression the moment they or their hosts and sentiments thereof are threatened...much like individuals who happen to take forums or inane subjects in general too seriously. I believe that tulpas are human beings, which means they are also susceptible to all too human trappings. More importantly, like some persons, tulpas also find the reassurance and purpose of worship.

I personally refuse to conflate human beings, and by extension, tulpas, with demons, as I feel it is an insult to the humanity God had imbued within us. I believe Salvation is a gift extended to everyone, tulpa or not - like anyone else with the capacity to make decisions, they may accept or deny this Grace. I am ignorant as to how any church authority would assess tulpas, yet I would think any charitable or understanding theistic perspective would assert that tulpas are co-creations guided by Providence, much like our own selves.

Here we come to my final point. These tulpas make their host's situation worse, and tempt them to sin through this worsening. Thusly, these tulpas are demonic by nature.

There was a time when I was of a similar mind to this. Where I got the idea in my head that because my tup responded to my sexual addictions with desire to participate, that she was some mind of evil being.

But I thankfully soon learned just how daft such an idea is.

Tulpa are made from you. They are designed, built up, and made out of the intangible stuff that makes you you. As such, they can and will inherit habits, vices, addiction, etc that you have. This doesn't happen 100% of the time, but it does happen often enough.

I've seen tups who have aggressive hosts become aggressive. I've seen tups with chronically depressed hosts become depressed themselves. I've seen tups who have sex addicted hosts become sex addicted themselves. Do you see where I am going?

A tulpa on some level will be a reflection and extention of their creator. Any personality flaws, quirks, or habits that the tulpa has will be in some level present in the host. This is because of multiple reasons, one of the most apparent and obvious being that the tulpa spends all their time with their maker, and usually only has their creator for conversation and companionship. As such, their reference pool is miniscule, and they are more apt to want what the host wants, and adopt the host's feelings.

So, if your tulpa accepts and encourages your sex obsession, this does not mean your tup is a demon, ot means that you yourself are sex obsessed. Your tup is simply reflecting this aspect of you in stark detail. To blame them for your folly is both dishonest and harmful; not only to your creation, but to your own self.

THIS IS A TROLL!

No one can be this stupid!

My reasoning:

If they were legit, they would have at least done some research, talked to people on the community. There is nothing wrong with me, and I'm trying to make a tulpa.

I can think of many people on this community who are no where near this kid's idea of a bad person. I am of fine health, and so are many people on this community.

I tell myself that this kid is trolling, because I don't want to believe that people can have such a lack of judgment. I'm ashamed to be human if this kid is for real.

"Now THATS a bad username"

Unfortunately, the position itself is reasonable if one's faith that these things are sinful is genuine, and under some definitions of demonic. Likewise, the premises are also reasonable, with many members of this community being sex obsessed and/or imbibing alcohol regularly, and the notion that tulpas play into these. Tulpas are usually more interested in sex than their hosts.

Some of the premises are false, but plausible, like the idea that being in a bad state while making a tulpa leads to a damaged tulpa.

Overall, this is not actually a stupid position, and is insufficiently flame baitey for the post to be likely intended for that purpose.

I don't get butthurt if your opinion is different from mine.

In fact, I enjoy hearing people whose opinions differ from mine, it's a refreshing experience. I was hoping for a logical and well thought out, evidence based argument.

But instead, a bunch or random, non-fact based comments were made. A generalization about the community being chronic masturbators and drug users was made as well. You are allowed an opinion, I believe, but not if your opinion is based SOLEY off of a generalization. As tulpa001 described, it is sometimes true, but not always.

There is this cool thing you can use, it's called "Facts".

They can be verified by anyone and everyone, pretty neat, right?

"Now THATS a bad username"

In case you didn't realize, he considers masturbation a sin. This implies heavy religiosity. People like that are simply less likely to do any of what you said, on average.

No offense meant and I'm not making character judgements. If that's true of you, that's how it is. If it doesn't bother you, that's fine too.

Sees like a couple people bit the bait eh? But seriously, this guy is either a troll, or a religious troll.
