I think saying "if you believe it'll work then it will" is kind of like, not a good thing to say? You're going to get this guy's hopes up and lead to disappointment. Think about it: if he's at the point where he wants to ask Santa to give him the ability as a gift, it's probably likely he's done other things like prayed to a god for that, and it still hasn't happened despite him believing it would. Really, the "beliefs makes reality" is a null answer in most cases, it's what people say when they don't actually have a response.

I'm not even sure that actually "seeing" a tulpa is even possible unless you do drugs or have some pre-existing condition. I could be wrong, but you don't really hear any actual imposition success stories. You can still interact with and get a lot of fulfillment out of just visualizing your tulpa's form with you as you go about your day, rather than being down because you haven't been able to hallucinate them for real.

If you mean seeing another tulpa's form, one who isn't in your head, then... no that isn't possible at all. A tulpa exists in a person's brain and isn't accessible by another person.

That is simply not true, I've heard of plenty of people able to get visual imposition down, such as lumi's system, and meowdude. I myself have managed to achieve quite convincing audio imposition, and if that is possible then it only makes sense that visual imposition is possible too

I have a tulpa named Miela who I love very much.

There are many guides to "seeing a tulpa" some of the guides on page one of 'guides' on this forum mention means to do it.

Also 'believing' is a big part of tulpamancy.

Do they have visual imposition down in that they actually hallucinate the tulpa(s), or just that they're very good at visualizing them in the real world with them? The definition of "imposition" has been creeping towards the latter definition lately.

Well I don't know about lumi's system, because they don't generally talk about their imposition much, but from what meowdude has said it seems like they have the former. And my audio imposition definitely sounds like real life sounds, the only way that I can tell them apart is from actual sounds is that either Monika or me put in actual effort to make it happen

That's how i interpreted it. 5 senses inposition 'sitting next to you' in the room with you in real life. Tumi has also mentioned this (unless i misinterpreted him as well.) I'm not sure i understand the difference between good visualization in the real world and visual hallucination. I have 'seen' Misha's wavy outline and her eye in a semi-translucent ghostly way. The guide i remember best said specifically real world imposition. I should really start reading them while taking notes. In fact the guide said, get to a perfect in your head visualization first before trying imposing.

Real quick first - Just knowing Chris-One, I'm pretty sure he's talking about seeing other people's tulpas, not just his own. Like very sure. This isn't about imposition.

Well our visualization isn't even that great, so not the latter. I've explained to you guys our imposition plenty of times before. It's like our sensory input is intercepted before being processed and has the tulpa hallucination placed on top, so while I'm aware I'm not actually sensing them, it's totally natural to act and react as if I am, to the point where I don't even feel like I'm alone. If anything (in this Santa scenario) I'd wish for perfect visualization clarity lol.

Realistically, I'm going to ask Santa for a lucid dream this Christmas. Miracles and all.

Hi! I'm Lumi, host of Reisen, Tewi, Flandre and Lucilyn.

Everyone deserves to love and be loved. It's human nature.

My tulpas and I have a Q&A thread, which was the first (and largest) of its kind. Feel free to ask us about tulpamancy stuff there.

Have a Coca-Cola classic Christmas this year!

Joke thread or not, we've reached full OT territory and I think there's little good that can come from the thread at this point.
