First time trying to make a tulpa, not sure how to start

Question

Before you comment, i feel like im obligated to say that im 16 turning 17 really soon ive thought about this really deeply and im sure i want to do this. Ive always wanted a tulpa i just didnt know i could actually have one, and i just want 1 tulpa for now

Im just starting out on tulpa stuff and im kinda confused, i want to make a tulpa based on a fictional character, so how am i supposed to start then? Do i try to kinda awaken the tulpa while thinking of them as the character i want? And btw its not an anime character its a videogame character. What are the things i have to do to make sure the tulpa doesnt end up changing into like a green goblin or just has a different personality and is it possible to store info via letting your tulpa write down stuff? And if lets say i got imposition down really neatly could i , if my character has access to system-like messages , kinda summon the pop ups and write down a mental cheat-sheet? And if i make my tulpa a god gamer would they be better than me?

Hopefully someone answers something :p

Just want to say that I'm glad you've thought it though! 😊

There are plenty of guides on here but you can pretty start however you choose. (I and my system mates were imaginary friends at first.) The best is to regularly talk to them. 😁

Well, there's no promises that they will or won't change but becoming the Green Goblin is highly unlikely. (thank goodness!) Tulpas are just like people, they can easily change though out life. 😁 You just got accept that they might not be excited what you want.

Technically, but this is all in the mind. Therefore, writing something like a DnD character sheet isn't going to make everything finite.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean but I want to clarify that imposition cannot actually effect the real world. (I would love it if it could though. 😁) Imposition is basically just making yourself believe you sense things but I can understand the confusion, if there's any. 😄

That actually depends on your capabilities. For example, we say Linda (system mate) is the best at video games but it's only a slight difference from Nightfall (host). Practice could make them better than you but we don't know that for sure.

I hope I answered most of your questions! 😊

I basically did this with a huge amount of daydreaming on the characters that I made up. It took me years to achieve sentience. You should read some of the guides sitting around on this site, they probably have better, more efficient ways for you to use.

Give them a reason to not do that. If my tulpa is proud of the way she looks, believes it to be a gift given to her by her creator, then she is not likely to just up and become a goblin one day. Similarly if my tulpa enjoys being or looking female, she's not likely going to just become male for no reason one day. Give them reasons to like the way they look or the way their personality is like. When I noticed my tulpa acting overly bossy in the past, which I disliked, I spoke to them as a person and explained why the behavior was unhelpful and unpleasant. They stopped being too bossy after that. Give them reasons to be the way you want them to be.

Yes. You can also store info by writing stuff down yourself. In my experience, I can generally ask my tulpa to remember something and to remind me of it even when I've forgotten about it. It's a normal level of memory like having your friend giving you a reminder, and nothing close to a super power level thing.

I've heard of one person doing something like this with the help of a hypnosis program meant to create tulpa-like beings. He's the only person to achieve great success with that program, out of a thread with 10s or even 100s of people discussing it. What you're proposing is likely hard, but doable.

Maybe, just like how my oldest tulpa generally seem more mature and socially graceful than me. I don't think you can achieve some sort of anime-esque super power level of skill with it, if that's what you were wondering about.

I know that imposition cant do things like make you fly or have better vision, i just meant being able to write a cheat sheet for exams

So doing the imposition technique CAN improve you at something but it wont be at a drastic change

Thanks for answering my questions :)

That is theoretically possible but it would still rely on memorization. (Hmm, that's probably a good study technique actually. 🤔)

Oops, I made a mistake. I meant practice in general could make you better, not imposition. (I am now realizing that I was not very clear. 😅

I guess imposition practice could help with concentration/focus and memorization but we aren't very knowledgeable about imposition though.

Aw man, i was hoping to use imposition as a cheat code for studying 😔
