Aaand we had another thread on this... again.

Or maybe we didn't and just talked about it over the IRC. I remember Dane talking about it once.

Anyway, the conclusion was that it's indeed possible and someone should try doing it as an experiment.

We did, I remember talking about reality marbles as a guest before I made an account. I think it's in the research forum somewhere.

Hmm, that is interesting, but I don't think I see it in the Research forum. Can you elaborate here?

Imposing your wonderland over your reality? American McGee's Alice anyone?

My answer to this question is yes, if you have the visualization skills. It must be done responsibly though, to avoid things like getting hit by cars.

Or getting locked up in an asylum.

Seriously, if people find out that you are seeing something like Alagaesia instead of the real world, they'll take you to the shrink.

The last book of that series fucking sucked

Fuck Alagaesia

Well, if you are talking about a full world with its own corridors and everything, then yes that would be a bad thing. BUT, I mean something along the lines of seeing it in the background or changing how you visually see the world, without truly conflicting with everyday life.

Wouldn't it be easier to just recreate your wonderland in a lucid dream, invite your tulpa into the lucid dream, and then just enjoy the wonderland inside of your dreams? Could touch objects in there too.

That would kinda miss the whole point, though, Mulder; the experiment aims to bring the wonderland into the real real life.
