In the case of Isis, I started with some character sketches of her and then visualized her appearance based upon those sketches (and not the other way around). Because she looks like the way I originally drew her, I had a little bit of an advantage. my thoughtform = Isis her appearance = stylized rabbit with dark fur and glowing eyes her developmental stage = imaginary friend
