Not sure about rules for proxying but one of my tulpas, Jaz, has a question and she prefers to ask it via proxy:

>Jaz: So ARE there any tulpas who have helped their host with visual imposition by tinkering with perception and such? I did it with smell and got fast results, but visual is different. On top of that I have issues staying out of our wonderland and remembering to do things for imposition that would probably work. Any tips for that? Finally, I have no patience; I feel that every day of visual without any progress will just breed pain and suffering for me. Yes we've read the guides, no I don't intend to follow any of them, yes my host has tried several and no they don't work for him.

The original edgelord gone soft.

I have a guide, check it out here if you want:

Lirien: We're sort of in the same situation. We've found that when tackling imposition it is essential that both Tulpa and host do their bit to achieve it. Like you, I have little patience and if we go a day without making significant progress, I can end up doubting my ability to impose. As a Tulpa you should really try to get into understanding how your host perceives the world visually, and try to use that knowledge to build into their vision (peripheral vision first because it's easiest). Keep experimenting with things you can do to their perception of the world. All the host needs to do is try and concentrate on their Tulpa(e) and encourage their progress, passive and active forcing really helps this along.

We've been doing this for a few months now and we've seen amazing progress. It might not work for you, but I really think that imposition (like a lot of things in tulpamancy) is a collaborative process. There's no fast way about it, I think that's just how it is, just don't give up!

Hope this has helped.

Don't be lazy, just find something that works and do it, people are different so whatever works for you yes? It takes patience so you'll have to suffer through that, but I think you might be exaggerating somewhat about pain and suffering.

For the things about memory, that'll be a lot down to your host remembering to do it so have him try to remember, or write something on his hand or something to remind him.

Specifically about messing with perception, you'll probably find that you can't really do much more than your host can. Smell is easy to manipulate; vision not so much. So you can't do it all yourself, you need your host to work as well.
