SonnySky July 9, 2012 Share July 9, 2012 So I decided to impose my Tulpa about a week ago, but decided to wait a bit and spent this time narrating. My Tulpa isn't sentient yet, but I think it'll be easier to narrate if she's actually there. So I wanted to start imposing her today, but, I realized I have no idea how to. I read the guide and stuff, but I still didn't get the idea of it, how do I do that?
Guest applesauce99 July 9, 2012 Share July 9, 2012 TOG's Claire just stood still to help, as she was sentient first. At first I wanted to impose to help pre-sentient narration also, but then I took an arrow to the knee I decided to just use a wonderland for visualization aid. For now. Doesn't really answer your question, but that's my four cents. While im still not answering your question, nice avatar. It's so d'aww.
Guest July 9, 2012 Share July 9, 2012 Its somewhat related to visualization, but with more depth and you are restricted to your environment. In any case don't think it gonna be easier than simply narrating to her, it takes much more effort and not really helps narrating imo.
FigN01 July 9, 2012 Share July 9, 2012 I think it would help to start off imposing her in your peripherals where you can't focus on detail. Just imagine her there a lot. After some time of doing that, you gradually move up to establishing your tulpa in your direct field of vision.
Guest Albatross_ July 9, 2012 Share July 9, 2012 Note that the reason for not imposing before sentience is that imposition requires puppeting. This is not a problem after sentience, but it is before. With that in mind: 1. Imagine her walking behind you, all the time. ALL the time. When you do that all the time, WITHOUT thinking about it, then you can move on. 2. Imagine her walking to the right and behind you, again, all the time. This time, you need to see her there in short glimpses; her form catches the corner of your eye. When this occurs without you making it occur, you can move on. If you successfully complete step 2 let us know.
