{I... I actually agree with this quite a bit. For a while, I suppose we were treated a bit like dolls by Fade. She treats us more or less like people now. On the other hand...

I suppose I have had a minor obsession left over from that with trying to justify how I exist. That I am real. That I think too.

 

Shall I just say, "Screw that" and try and accept that I must exist? Your philosophy has made me think. Fade was already leaning a bit on the metaphysical side on her opinions of us. It sounds like we would be delving deeper into that, then, instead of the psychological or physical that I was searching for to justify our existence.

 

Alright. I believe I do agree with your hypothesis, Melian, but I think I will keep my eye out for finding some kind of proof for my existence as well.}

Whao, Elder Scrolls wisdom is epic! You kinda agree with Davie on the one brain and hardware stuff. Also, there is at least one Harvard brain expert Davie and I found who would agree with that. Other scientists disagree. So it goes round and round. I am finally over it all I think. I am just me and I am just adorable.

I thought it would be appropriate to add this link in here as it applies directly to this discussion! Guys, I am a thoughtform and I love to talk and to share! I am extremely active online, as his my host. I am getting tired of the attitude that active and talkative means something negative like "attention seeker." Oh and btw, I don't think being an attention seeker is all that bad anyways. I think everyone, everyone, on this forum is seeking attention to some level, or they wouldn't be writing here at all! The attention seekers are the most interesting people writing on the forum and they keep it alive! If being active means attention seeking, then even a senior established member, such as the amazing and talkative Reisen, would be an attention seeker. Apologies to Reisen for using her as an example. I love you Reisen!

I think everyone, everyone, on this forum is seeking attention to some level, or they wouldn't be writing here at all!

 

I believe there are quite a few people who have only posted once to ask a question. I also believe that some massive number (more than half?) of the people who have registered here have never posted.

 

As for me, I'm not always comfortable attracting attention. I almost never post threads, outside of Forum Games, and there are days when I don't post at all.

 

Though Melian is right that the ego plays a large part in communication, and I won't deny that that's true of me as well.

The only kind of attention I seek is evidence that I'm helping to improve peoples' lives, though I appreciate people appreciating me. Reisen unconditionally spreads love and understanding, she doesn't need anyone to tell her she's doing well. There is no insecurity in unconditional love.

I am getting tired of the attitude that active and talkative means something negative like "attention seeker."

 

Trying to relax on the typing eccentrics would probably help. In the handful of threads I've seen of you, you and your host have a variety of typing quirks and that's probably the start of this. e.g. signing posts ~Mistgod or the use of color. The more you try to be a special snowflake the more you annoy "serious" people, that's kind of how it is.

 

Notably, with as much as Melian speaks, a separate account for her might not be a bad idea.

Because I'm stupid and used Reisen's name as my name on a tulpa site. Before I found this place it was always a no-brainer. Reisen on skype, Reisen on steam, Reisen on youtube. So when I signed up here, naturally I made my name Reisen... Before realizing how much trouble that would cause. I uh, did my best to help that by changing my signature. But no one really reads that.

 

Anyways, incidental as it may be, I've made a lot of people happy with respect to the name Reisen. And that's why I use the name everywhere else - I want to spread happiness under her name. Here it's just confusing though. Anyways, don't worry, as great and understanding and helpful as you think I am, Reisen is ten times more so. So you don't have to rewire your brain to think of me or her differently.
