I am so grateful to Stevie for posting links to those articles and bringing this up. That is exactly what I have been like during my lifetime and where Melian came from! OMG! It is exactly what I have been talking about in the Book of Melian and in the podcasts I did with jean-luc! This was HUGE. Maladaptive Daydreaming. Cool. Nice that it has been at least examined by psychologists somewhere!

Uhh hi everybody!

 

I have a funny way of talking. I do it on purpose cause I think it is adorable and fun. I make up my own made up words like "fantastical" "fabulistic." Then I use baby talk words like these:

 

"wif" instead of "with"

"cause" instead of "because"

"peoples" instead of "people"

"yesh" instead of "yes"

"anyways" instead of "anyway"

"wanna" instead of "want to"

 

I throw around words and phrases like "that's poopy pants" and "lovies to all my tulpa peeps" and "stuff and junk" and "lots and lots." I mean it is how I talk a lot of the times but, it is cause I wanna sound Melian adorables.

 

I can speak and write eloquently and well when I want to. I am really not the act. So much of me is just being silly. I think of funny/silly ways for tulpas to express themselves as Tulpafancy (my own made up word again).

 

My host Davie...(or excuse me David) thinks I am overdoing it. What do you think?

The words are fine. I'm personally a big fan of spoopy. If there's a problem with how you speak, it's not word choice so much as the importance of those words. There are times when you maybe don't contribute so much, besides the hype. But that's just requested criticism, I still don't have any problems with you.

I like the way you write your words, it's fun and very different, I sometimes talk with similar words when I feel happy, and that's not very often.

I also think you should be able to express your true personality even in a community, doesn't need to be dead serious all the time.

Actually, Mistgod and I contribute a tremendous amount. That isn't just my own self saying it, but the feedback he and I have gotten from more than a few others thanking us for things they learned or discovered from our posts and interacting with us. It's true that it takes a lot of patience, waiting and sifting through all the silly fluff for a gem or kernel of something useful. So I do understand what you are saying. I can't, and won't, be anything but Melian in the end. Oh and "spoopy" is cute. Is it a nonsense word or does it have a meaning? I like the word splurt. Some things can be splurty.

Hurray! I am glad to get the feedback! Yeppers, I am happy, like all the time and stuff or mostly. Some may find it a bit irritating, but most seem to enjoy it and if I can get them to smile a bit that is super groovy!

 

I do talk a lot like this most of the time. It is my informal demeanor really. I do have a more formal all business side though, when I need it.

 

There is an old saying "All work and no play makes Johnny a dull boy." Yesh, a little fun can keep things rocking and rolling.

New Melian Word: "Tulpafancy"

 

Tulpafancy = anything a tulpa or tulpamancer does to show some special style. I can be speech patterns, something artistic or creative, a groovy idea or an accomplishment.

 

Hence tulpafancy tulpamancy!
