Confessions of a Poorly Trained Tulpa

On the first thread I posted here, a couple people jumped on the "Did you use the search before posting this? This has been discussed before." bandwagon and made me feel super salty and newbish. I remember thinking, damn shoulda combed the threads more, I look stupid I should delete this thread. And then Sushi came outta no where tellin me it was cool, and it was all good and I woulda got bashed on for necro posting or making the new thread, and then proceeded to answer what I asked about and it just generally made me feel like I wasn't some stupid newb, and that I had something to contribute, and that it isn't stupid to talk about old things. My first thread? What do you do for your tulpas birthdays? Thats super subjective and the answers from the previous post arnt gonna be the same.

 

Just something small I think about when I come on sometimes. I don't post a lot, dont got much to say, but thats definitely something that made me feel more welcome here and something I've always appreciated. So like, thanks, Sushi. And shit. Feels so sappy typing it out but always been one of those things where the one party probably didn't know he made a difference that day. [He's crying now]

 

I haven't seen it happen a whole lot recently. Although I haven't really been looking for it. But from my experience, yea it felt super shitty to be shot down on my first post and told to just read the old posts, but after the couple people told me to check the search bar, there was actually a decent conversation, with a majority of the people in the thread positively contributing, and I felt more inclined to post what I write instead of typing out something and then deleting it because I second guessed myself and thought my opinions would just get hated on.

 

Mist, you get a lotta shit and we never really talked I don't think, and if we are being perfectly honest some of your posts I do think are blabbering but like 95% of them I really do see that you are contributing positively and trying to get other people to contribute, and to revitalize this website. And I do see an increase in posts and discussions. You're just a really nice guy who isn't afraid to be silly and post about silly things and that's not a bad thing because you have started a lotta positive discussions and got the ball rollin.

 

If it makes any difference Elia and I believe in Melian, lol. I find it hard to believe you've been coming on here like what, half a year now, everyday and posting stuff? Nah, that shows us enough commitment for us to believe you guys.

 

As a lurker I'd come on here and for a while, like around spring and early summer, there'd be maybe a new thread each day and a couple new posts, a lotta them in the games section. That was so boring just comin on and seeing the same shit day after day and I thought this site was dying out but its so nice to just come on and see 3 new threads with 3-4 pages of discussion. Sometimes its not even tulpa relevant but fuck if it isn't nice to go on a site with other people that talk to people in their head just like you, and read about what's goin on with them and how they feel about things.

 

[i know I don't talk a lot on here, or really at all, but it's always felt like a second home and I've known it all my life. I haven't talked to any of you, but we've read so much stuff on here some of ya'll feel like my friends :3...]

 

Oh, wow, my Adderall just makes me wanna talk about my feelings for days. Feels good to get this out in the open though.

For the record, sushi has repeatedly done something similar for me and helped inspire me to read books about thoughtforms and Alexandra David Neel. He broadened my scope of investigation well beyond Tulpa Info forum. I don't know what this site would be without him. :-)

Evidence for Melian's existence should never be necessary for anyone. No one else is required to present evidence of the existence of their tulpa on this forum. I expect to receive the same courtesy and conditions as other members. I know she exists and claim she exists and that is all that should ever matter. Openly doubting the sincerity of other members is sheer poison to a forum of this nature.

 

With that said, there is even more to it than just being on Tulpa Info for six months. I have shared Melian's existence with my entire extended family, my friends, my coworkers and my employer. I wanted to do this. I am getting older and I don't want to die without others knowing about Melian. She needs to be known and not a secret. I have suffered the expected consequences for going public with her as you can imagine. Without going into details, some of them were very negative. It isn't just sharing her here on Tulpa Info. Also, my enthusiastic obsession about her and tulpamancy in general speaks for itself I think. You would pretty much have to be a rock head to believe at this point I am only here to be a troll for attention.

If they are people they should be able to tell us about their lives! My gods, how can that not be part of the science? Can tulpas tell jokes? How do they feel about birthdays? Do they care about their forms or is it more that the host does?

 

These are questions we should be asking the tulpas. We should be talking to the tulpas!

Time for a new Melian's Musings thread. Melian's Musings II was getting too long.

 

Melian and I will be gone a lot from the forum now. I have made the decision not to use social media while at work. I often work ten to twelve hour days during the week. So you can imagine what that is going to do to Mistgod-Melian time on Tulpa Info.

 

Let me put it this way. It is 7:21am right now. I will see you guys again around 8:30pm (maybe).

Actually, no. Whilst I am legally married [out of sytem], I don't do anything of a sexual nature within system (a "system" being everyone in a single physical body on Earth). Frankly that'd be like seducing your grandfather, as far as I am concerned.

Some tulpas live life on Earth like any human. I have quite a perchant for japes and puns, but jokes - not so much. I generally regard my start as a "creation day" rather then a birthday, but I celebrate it much the same. I care enough about my form that I sometimes laze around on Earth that way.

You have been lucky not to deal with these types yet. Fortunately I drove at least two of them completely off the forum in the past and effectively silenced the others (as far as their reaction to me personally are concerned). It seems to go with this kind of person that they don't write much anyway. They are too dull witted to have any intellectual stamina.

I actually did pretty well. Only half a dozen quick checks of the forum instead of hanging around the keyboard all day and having Tulpa Info and Deviantart on separate tabs from my work and flipping back and forth. My overall productivity did not improve however. LOL That is because I am already incredibly amazing at what I do.
