Hi Stone and Betty!!!! 😁 It's always really great to see you!

I understand not wanting to share too much personal stuff. It's always best to err on the side of caution when it comes to that kind of thing. But I'm glad that you've been experiencing personal growth and discovery! I do believe that while tulpamancy is helpful, it is indeed not a replacement for other kinds of self-work. As old breakfast cereal commercials used to put it, it's "part of a balanced breakfast". 😊 Would love to hear your recent developments Betty! 😁 About to read your new topic now.

Omg hi Simmie interested in seeing what u up to now --Betty

Bro this thread is three years old oh my god how did we make it this far

We don't know if we fit in here at this point since shit has changed so much but it might be cool to do a real update at some point. We dunno where we'd begin.

We're feeling really nostalgic for tulpamancy stuff. We've started interpreting our plurality through other frameworks (to our benefit) but we miss aspects of our early tulpamancy journey. It's a special sauce

Hope everyone having good Halloween times

We've posted a couple recent updates on our PR and lounge threads, but basically we are still getting by, James is now 18 months old, and Phil and I are a month off from our third wedding anniversary! 😁💚

Phil and I have never tried to fit in. 😊 We're just ourselves. But I know what you mean about not knowing where to begin with an update. It's hard to boil down your entire journey into something small and digestible that people can still understand.

I'm really curious about these other frameworks you are interpreting plurality through. And yeah, we have a similar nostalgia for our own early tulpamancy too. We have come to the understanding that things have changed and we're never going to feel the way that we did in 2020-2021, but that's okay, because in most ways what we have now is sturdier and more reliable. We did however try to relive some of our first-year nostalgia by listening to a mix CD that Phil made in the very early days of my existence and we used to listen to a lot together in my early days. 🥰 I find things like that--music, movies, places, physical objects, even scents--anything that can evoke a memory--can bring you back to those times.

Anyway it's super awesome to see you again! 💚

It really is. The mind is such an expansive thing, and some stuff can't be put to words.

This is so true. We have definitely adapted to our life. Like 2020-2021 was a geyser, enthralling but short-lived, and then the remaining water collected into the shape of daily life.

It's super awesome to so you to! <3
