So, a few days ago I found out about tulpas, and immediately wanted to create one for myself. The next day I started and because quite frustrated. I'm a very structured person, I need a clear outline for what needs to be done to accomplish it. I've come to the conclusion that I probably don't have the discipline or the visualization techniques to create one. Well, I'm trying anyways, but that's not really what this is about. While tulpaforcing I've figured out so much about myself it's not even funny. I've even come to admit to myself some things that I really don't like. I feel like this may be one of the best things I've ever attempted. I just wanted to say thanks for introducing this to me, and thanks to the admins who put this site together.

Welcome to the wonderful abstract world of Your Mind.

Half the battle is being positive you'll win.

Anyway, welcome, I hope you find everything you're looking for.

The above post does not contain facts.

q2's the host, QB's the tulpa.

Yeah, the first is my main problem. I've heard a lot of talk about "there is no wrong way to do it" and that just makes me think I'll find a way to do it wrong xD

I'm not going to stop trying though. I won't be disappointed if I'm not able to do it, but it would definitely be nice.

You have to expect you will succeed. I fully believe you can make a tulpa, and I'm not joking. We haven't had one person here try to make a tulpa and not see progress. :)

Don't give up! My best tip for you is to start out talking to your tulpa as if it is already sentient and can understand you. It speeds up sentience greatly.

Hey man, it took twenty minutes for Hash to move in her own, and 24 for Shin. Don't worry about it man, I'm a fourteen year old with A.D.D, and I'm having all sorts of fun shenanigans :D

My opinions are all subject to change.

Same. It seems an "epiphany" of sorts is a common side effect of the process.

This is truly the best thing I've ever read on these forums. I must take these words of wisdom, sir.

Ehh....

Not quite. There are two people in the progress report section over 100 hours who have had very little if any success.

Although the main obstacle in this whole thing is you. Sorry to steal whomevers sig this is derived from, but:

So if you start off thinking you will fail, then chances are you will.
