Because as we all know, public results and thorough testing is the only way to make sure the method is working, and surely the subjective experience matters none. <- Sarcasm, by the way.

Also sarcasm.

Although, you should go to Tulpa General more often, waffles. I managed to convert several people there, including Wesley. There are also several people on my guide thread that have commented on its usefulness, if you really need more "proof".

Yeah, because this very community is centered on the very subject of "proof".

Proof.

Because as we all know, public results and thorough testing is the only way to make sure the method is working.

Spot on, Fede. There's no guarantee that something works unless it is demonstrated to work. Things like "It looks like it'll work" are simply not good enough.

Tookie and Xantan, feel free to use Fede's methods. The truth is that he and his methods probably are hated on a bit too strongly by the community at large. I would certainly recommend you try his tones. However, be warned that his methods are untested at large; FAQ_man's and Irish's guides have been tested by thousands, while Fede cannot boast the same.

And I thought you hated popularity contests.

As a disclaimer on Fede's method: thoroughly untested, and distrusted by most members of the community.Use it at your own peril.

I wouldn't really say that it was distrusted. What I seem to recall, is that it went against people's pre-conceived notion of how you were "supposed" to force (ie: no parroting, use a wonderland, all that good stuff). Any distrust based on an unwillingness to try something different, is completely non-credible, if you ask me.

Also:

distrusted by most members

Is a gross exaggeration.

Now, I don't personally use Fede's method (but it wouldn't be too far-fetched of me to try it some time), I just think it's ridiculous to discredit anyone's genuinely created guide, when you haven't tried it yourself, and quite honestly, have no real basis to discredit it yourself.

So OP; if you're interested, give Fede's guide a read. If it seems like something you'd be interested in, give it a try. If not, find another guide, or come up with your own method.

As per everything involving tuppers, you have to find what works for you.

"If this can be avoided, it should. If it can't, then it would be better if it could be. If it happened and you're thinking back to it, try and think back further. Try not to avoid it with your mind. If any of this is possible, it may be helpful. If not, it won't be."

Which is why I sarcastically tried to prove said point, although waffles intentionally missed it. Everything is subjective; I merely advertise for those that are uninformed.

I'm not stupid, Fede. It was obvious that what you said was intended sarcastically, but it was also correct literally.

The popularity of your guide isn't the problem. The problem is that this means that it is untested. It doesn't matter how many people want to use it, only how many people have successfully.

Let's agree to disagree, mh?

Xantan, as a quiet person myself, I know exactly what you're talking about. Just try this, if you leave the room, when you re-enter let them know that you're back. When you think about them, make a little comment, even if it's just to say 'hi'. And most importantly, explain to them that you are a quiet person. To quote what Alice said when I talked to her about it, "Big deal, so you're quiet. You still think about me, you still show me music, you even talk to me in public without giving a damn what people think. Just because you aren't constantly babbling away doesn't mean anything to me."

Also, on the subject of guides, if something, in this case lassies guide, is untested, more reason to test it. If you don't like the guide, don't use it. It's simple. I don't use them because bineural beats give me a headache, but it doesn't give me a right to hate them. All I have is the right to use or not use them.

Let's focus on the matter at hand, shall we?

As a disclaimer on Fede's method: thoroughly untested, and distrusted by most members of the community.Use it at your own peril.

Yea, i've noticed the reaction his name has. That said i did read his guide and can relate to some of his view points. he appears to use conditioning more. i don't agree with everything but there are some things i will take away from it to aid us.
