How do I differentiate my personality from my host's?

Me and Cloud Roller are able to switch now, so he can finally ask a question to these forums himself. So anyway, here is Cloud Roller:

 

¨Hello tulpa.info, you probably know who I am already so I will cut to the chase. How do I differentiate my personality from my host's? I know it is a weird question but bare with me, a lot of the time I feel like me and MTHI have two EXACT personalitys, and it is starting to bother me. Any tricks that can help me and/or him notice the difference easier? Help is very much appreciated :)¨

Best advice I can think of is to pay attention and take note of any small differences, and over time, you should just get used to noticing them.

O.k., there's a few obvious things that tells me I am me. First, the entire time I'm switched I have like an ASMR feeling. More then that though, I cry when I'm happy and when I'm sad (Kevin never cries, not for a very long time). Also, I tend to recover quickly from upsets ("sunny disposition") and I'm curious and outgoing whilst Kevin is introverted. Also, if I'm ever in doubt, I can just ask the Watchdogs and they tell me who is who (keeping detail straight, and all of us on the safe side of 'sane" is one of the Watchdog's mandates).

Not gonna lie, I stopped reading after you said switching, I couldn't reliably switch until like 6-8 months in
