Always been unsure whether the plural was tulpas or tulpae. Part of the road to becoming a better person lies in defeating the darkness inside yourself, then helping others to do the same. Kaga was pretty confused by the term, too. We remained confused about it for the next, like, 24 hours before we realized it might be a joke about autocorrect or something. ...You seem to imply that that's not the case, though. @_@ Pinky is not a pony. She's an imp. Sunray is an angel-imp. Ex is humanoid. Kael is a dragon. Magnum is a dog.
Luminesce February 8, 2015 February 8, 2015 Tupperware sounds like it was a joke that got used out of context making it terrible. Tulpas is universally accepted and tulpae is, supposedly, more grammatically correct. But there's debate on that so generally it's a matter of preference and no one dares argue eithers' legitimacy anymore. Most say tulpas. On topic, association of your tulpa with an object is sometimes useful early on to help bring your tulpa to mind more clearly. I had a rainbow moonstone that helped me feel closer to Reisen when I held it. But over time I became less reliant on it, and now it's just a pretty rock. Pillows are good for hugging, but I'd relate that more to imposition/mindspace visualization rather than considering the pillow actually them. It's like a placeholder to make touch more realistic. So, I wouldn't recommend considering the pillow your tulpa, but you could definitely associate it with them to help visualize or generally bring them to mind. Hi!
