I like classical music and soundtracks too but I don't listen to it at home. I just can't relax there. (a little weird I think...)I have a secert place in a big park next to my house. It's covered by some trees and no other people come there because they go to the lake and not to the river.

Do you know myuuji? He does some creepy stuff too but most of his songs are just beautiful.

Host likes many kinds of metal music and then some random songs here and there. From what she listens to, I just like the songs I can sing to.

I like a wide range of stuff. I like a lot of different electonic genres, although Synthwave is probably my current favorite.

I also like Alternative Rock quite a bit.

My favorite band is Brick + Mortar!

Soliciting meditation tips here, because, why not.

I am also reading tips on other sites, but I suspect meditation is popular amongst tulpamancers? It's taking us some time. Need inspiration.

Oh, I think maybe I can meditate, but she can't. Her mind is noisier. When you meditate, does your entire system meditate, or can just you meditate and your tulpa go eat breakfast?

I consider meditation, at least the typical kind we do if we do it, just quieting the mind. Usually that involves you yourself focusing on.. something, your focus itself. But I think mostly it's the lack of noise in the mind. And we see the mind as a single, separate thing that any of us can control one at a time. Lining up with that, I don't think my tulpas have any clutter in their "minds" at all while not switched, they seem to be totally focused on whatever they're doing. Sooo, "the whole system meditates" / the one controlling the conscious mind and body and such is meditating, the others are unaffected.

Hi! I'm Lumi, host of Reisen, Tewi, Flandre and Lucilyn.

Everyone deserves to love and be loved. It's human nature.

My tulpas and I have a Q&A thread, which was the first (and largest) of its kind. Feel free to ask us about tulpamancy stuff there.

If you are looking for just a baseline intro to meditation for War I recommend http://www.headspace.com/

It has a 10 day free trial that is only 10minutes a day. No obligation to continue with their paid service. It isnt one of those sites that ask for payment info.

It introduces how to get under and how to clear the mind. The only difference between it and say active forcing is just what you are doing mentally while meditating.

They have it on the Web browser and also an iOS and Android app.

Headspace is an app. I'm too old school for that. Well, my host is. We started by looking at wikipedia a few weeks ago. But, as we discovered yet again, wikipedia is not a how-to manual.

There seem to be multiple interpretations for what it means to clear your head of thoughts. It also seems there is more than a few interpretations for what acknowledge the thought and let it pass means.

You can use headspace with just their website, you don't need to use their app unless you're only on mobile.

Another option is what bluefluke has in his guide.

When I meditate, the rest of the system does too. Pretty sure, at least.

Man, I'm getting so close to meditating properly. I feel, multiple times a session, that I almost am not thinking any thoughts. Then I notice that I am noticing that I am almost not thinking any thoughts. Then I get caught up in anticipation of the day I will be able to report on our progress report that I achieved meditation. Then I remind myself that I should not be thinking about trying to not think thoughts, because that counts as a thought. Then I think about the irony of thinking all these thoughts while trying to meditate.

Then my mind usually wanders into a daydream.
