SonnySky July 28, 2012 July 28, 2012 It's just my opinion, but if you actually want to skip a step, skip personality and not narration. Narration is possibly one of the most important steps because it's basically talking to your Tulpa, and by doing so, teaching it to respond. Also, I think that having a fixed amount of hours for it is unnecessary, but I guess that's just might be me. I guess you could do that and after you're done with everything just continue with pure narration, I don't know. I don't use a schedule, I just spend whatever time I need on each part. I don't even count hours.
Guest applesauce99 July 28, 2012 July 28, 2012 In my opinion even having steps is uneccessary. And I agree with SonnySk-OMG THAT AVATAR MAKES ME D'AWWW
hakase July 28, 2012 July 28, 2012 While I agree that divvying everything up into explicit chunks is un-necessary, is it really ok to skip personality? Or could a tulpa gain a personality on it's own based on your subconscious needs? Also, I feel like things such as Vision, Body language, and Imposition are constantly on-going and always improving over time, while Touch and Smell will most likely remain the same. GreenCore July 28, 2012 July 28, 2012 After lurking for more hours then I could count, I believe you've planned this out carefully, But in the end your more then likely going to spend more hours on narration then any other step, the point of narration is to get sentience ( signs that your tulpa is becoming a "real" being.) By narrating it you'll get a tulpa (at least inside your head) narrating is as Sonny said, the most important part
Romm July 28, 2012 July 28, 2012 Narrating is not even counts as tulpaforcing honestly, you just do it sideway but yeah, usually it takes so much time because you do it until the very end which you can't plan out.
the wind listens July 28, 2012 July 28, 2012 I really sucked at everything except narration which was a lot of fun for me and I think I'm doing pretty well. I really wouldn't skip it. It's basically half of the point of having a tulpa, the other half being them talking back to you. And this is how that begins, anyway. my progress log that actually has something going on now
ThatOneGuy July 28, 2012 July 28, 2012 You shouldn't pre plan hour counts for each step. You'll have a much better time if you simply forget about hour counts fully and go at each step until you feel that it's done. Orange juice helps with concentration headaches.
ThatOneGuy July 28, 2012 July 28, 2012 Narration is something you do whenever you get the chance. And yes, normally it goes personality > visualization+narration > Imposition. Orange juice helps with concentration headaches.
