Tewi November 11, 2016 November 11, 2016 There's about 17 posts in this thread that aren't ours, with maybe 1500 views that aren't ours. Lucilyn wanted to know how many of those are actually people, so if you aren't a nameless lurker, we'd appreciate if you posted, just this one time is fine. Or as Lucilyn put it, "I don't care if the thread turns into a party, I just want everyone to post!" We've had a lot of people follow our threads or posts very closely in the past but never tell us, which is fine, but it does make that view count more real if there's some faces behind it. If you've posted several times in the past you don't need to now, mostly at the two who couldn't if they wanted. Alright, nine hours after writing that it's a bit closer to bed time. The dog has been whining at night generally around 9:00-10:30 when we put it in its pen and, unfortunately, 3:00-5:00 AM when it decides it's done sleeping. Also when it decides we're done sleeping. There's really no sleeping through it for us despite being downstairs, we're too perceptive of sound. In the past that meant we usually woke up knowing what people had been doing while we were asleep (mainly when we were sleeping during the day), but now it means if the dog isn't asleep neither are we. So, I'll do my best to work on dream clarity. As established before, we have trouble going back to sleep if there's any sort of activity during our waking periods, and if keeping the intention to lucid dream counts then the dog whining or howling sure as heck does too. But I think it's getting more comfortable with the place, so hopefully it stops soon. I'm not really counting on it. After taking a couple of tests tomorrow I'll look into a more appropriate sleeping schedule. I'll throw in a song too since it just came up in a discussion. I'm not sure if we've posted the two IZMIZM tracks we have. [video=youtube] Hi, I'm Tewi, one of Luminesce's tulpas. I often switch to take care of things for the others. Vampire November 11, 2016 November 11, 2016 I follow your thread because I find it interesting. Personally I have had issues dreaming for a long time. I have almost no dream recall normally. Tewi November 12, 2016 November 12, 2016 We got the dog both a noise machine and a ticking alarm clock which are apparently helpful for various reasons, so she was quiet last night. Only made noise for a little while at 4AM before the first person in our household gets up. I wasn't sure she was going to be quiet so I was a little distracted, but generally I remembered my dreams through the night. Pretty basic, but much better than nothing at all. I'll work on making them clearer, and on retaining the details longer. The other one: [video=youtube] {Lumi: A channel hosting a lot of our music was taken down, so this is actually uploaded on Tewi's account now} Hi, I'm Tewi, one of Luminesce's tulpas. Solune November 12, 2016 November 12, 2016 Luna: I'm curious to hear your opinion on the following: Do I dream when I sleep? Any dream Solune recalls I can also recall as if it were my own dream... yet I don't remember ever having my own separate dream. As a system, do we just collectively share dreams? p.s. it's one of my goals in life to be in a lucid dream with Solune. I feel your pain. Tewi November 12, 2016 November 12, 2016 I'll link a few posts that explain our perspective on that, but it can certainly be different for everyone. But if you don't already remember separate dreams, chances are you're like us. https://community.tulpa.info/thread-when-tulpas-sleep?pid=170412#pid170412 https://community.tulpa.info/thread-are-lucid-dream-personas-sentient?pid=169103#pid169103 https://community.tulpa.info/thread-the-great-shared-lucid-dream-project?pid=170800#pid170800 This one's just a post by Lumi on lucid dreaming in general, but you might find it useful if you haven't seen it before. In our case, dreaming only happens when the mind is dreaming, which goes along with similar things such as not having our own separate experiences in the wonderland while Lumi's doing something else, etc. So, from what I can tell, the mind's dreams are a sort of free-for-all as it relives or stitches together experiences its had to make new ones. After we'd switched a fair amount, we started very rarely having dreams from our perspective. But then, I had a dream from Lucilyn's perspective, which was pretty interesting because we don't really experience merging or anything. It was no different than if I dreamed I was any random person, I still had my own sense of self but in the dream I "was" Lucilyn. And it goes without saying that in most dreams we're dreaming as our host. Though now that I've had enough dreams from my host's perspective, I can tell that only maybe half of them are really from his perspective, and the rest are neutral. Many dreams don't involve a sense of self or specific perspective at all. Also, Lucilyn recently had a dream that seemed like she was switched in the dream. It was a pretty vivid dream, so although the body was obviously Lumi's and the scenario would've been with IRL people Lumi knows, it seemed like it was Lucilyn actually controlling the body. Of course, there wasn't any sense of self to the dream to judge that off of, we went entirely off of how "we" acted. Lumi's not usually so excited to be at a party, ie never. I think our brain is still just stitching together experiences in that free-for-all environment. I don't think any of us are specifically dreaming them most of the time. But the dreams are often from one of our perspectives, usually Lumi's and sometimes some random person's, and rarely (as of now) ours. We generally "take credit" for any dreams we had while switched, as far as saying we dreamed them. But they can still clearly be from Lumi's perspective. Unfortunately, if you guys don't switch and often, I don't think you'll likely have dreams from someone other than your host's perspective. It's still possible, just as likely as dreams we've had where we were a character from a show or game, but not as likely. Also we've learned to expect the least when it comes to dreams, though it may not be that way for you. Aside from during times where we were switched often, we've never had a dream from one of our perspectives. I believe the first dream one of us was in, where Lucilyn found Mistgod looking for someone near a river, the perspective was neutral. She was the main character of the dream, but it was more of a third person feeling. That may be the best you can get. But, I wanna be in a lucid dream! I don't even have to be the one controlling the dream, that vivid one was so real I would be happy to be one of its characters. If you guys do manage to lucid dream, I don't think you'll need to worry about whose perspective it's from. Assuming you have decent control over it, it should seem more than real enough. When you have a tulpa in a dream, if the brain is intending for it to be the tulpa (or if you're intending it) then really no one is better qualified. They should be themselves perfectly. If you don't have really good visualization/imposition skill, I'd dare say the experiences will feel more like them than while you're awake. Obviously they'll feel more real, which is everyones' goal here, but I mean to say a tulpa may seem even more like themselves in a lucid dream. Though in our case, since I was assuming you guys don't switch, I believe it'd be no trouble at all for us to establish ourselves as us in a lucid dream. I can still see myself, pink dress and ears and all, in my mind's eye while switched just fine. The others can too. Whoever the dream's perspective was from would be irrelevant as whoever was the one actually dreaming would then see themselves, and summon the others respectively. Tewi November 13, 2016 November 13, 2016 Forgot to post before leaving last night and didn't want to turn the computer back on to do so. Definitely recalling.. experiencing.. multiple dreams a night, of similar length throughout it too. Recalling is a strong word because I forget most of them not too long after, but I can tell when I've been dreaming and what about. I am also making an effort to recall them when I can, but salvaging bits of them is nothing like natural recall and those bits are all you get. So it seems not everyone is aware of our system's relation to lucid dreaming, see here. I suppose the same people wouldn't be viewing this thread, but I'll just put out a reminder anyways. We care a lot. We're not going to be overly dramatic every single day we post in this thread, because we do make an effort to regulate our feelings by keeping relative standards and expectations. But we do care, a lot more than the everyday post betrays. I have to care as much as the others do, and Lumi considers lucid dreaming with us his goal in life - which is really kind of sad - and so I also have strong feelings on the subject. Because it matters so much to us, coupled with how much effort we've put into it over the years for nearly no results, we're liable to get actually upset when people talk about casually achieving success with it. We know it's not their fault and should be happy for them, so most of the time we end up saying nothing at all. But I just felt like noting that. We definitely care. Tewi November 14, 2016 November 14, 2016 I'm feeling kind of drained, even though I shouldn't be as the full (super)moon is tomorrow. Because I don't particularly have something I need to be doing right now, I'll be switching with Flandre after I sleep. Try as I might, her and Lumi seem to get the best results with dreams, so I guess that much is relevant here. And hopefully someone else can make a nicer celebration of the full moon than I. I'm really not good at that stuff, it's a lot better if I'm not the one running things. Anyways, good night. I suppose you could say this is one of my favorite songs. It's not in our itunes though as I only listen to the album as a whole. (We use foobar2000 for full albums) [video=youtube] Hi, I'm Tewi, one of Luminesce's tulpas. Flandre November 14, 2016 November 14, 2016 It's been.. 78 days since I was last here. Wow. I guess I have to admit, you really do lose touch with time when you're a tulpa, who isn't actively doing things anyway. Can it really have been that long since I last spent the night with Lumi? Well, now that I think about it I've been imposed more recently. But not that recently, and not for more than a couple days. This actually makes me kind of worry about Reisen. We need to get her more active. I don't know what we'll be doing tonight, but we probably won't be here to talk about it, so I'm writing this now. Here's one of 'our' songs, we have about five of these and I don't believe we've linked any of them on the forum before. But it's the least personal of them, something to play while we're in the wonderland together maybe. [video=youtube] Our meaning all of ours. You won't be hearing my and Lumi's songs any time soon. Hi. I'm one of Luminesce's tulpas. Unlike the others, I don't think I stand out too much from him personality wise. I'm just special because "I'm a tulpa". So I don't think I've much to offer, here. I'm happy enough to just be with him. Ask us stuff - https://community.tulpa.info/thread-ask-lumi-s-tulpas
Flandre November 16, 2016 November 16, 2016 Ended up going to sleep around 3:30 last night, after a little moon-viewing with the others. I was too tired to remember to remember dreams I guess, but I'm going to sleep earlier tonight so I'll have Lumi help me with that. If it wasn't apparent, it helps a lot to have him with me through the night, because every time I wake up I instantly remember what we're doing. I think it's the same for him. Anyways.. I'm tired.. I posted this in our ask thread last night but I'll just put it here too. It came on during a relevant discussion of desire and celebration/dreaming, and it's Shibayan so it's innately a bit sleepy.
