Walking through doorways is difficult

Tom and I have been working on imposition for about a week now (I'm very busy so I often have him walk with me wherever I go) and things have been going pretty well with one exception: doors. Every time I get to a door, I open it for Tom, he seems to go through, and then I go through, but after I close the door I can't tell if he's in the room with me or outside of the door. It's weird, and I don't know if I should ignore it or try to parrot him enough to get into the room. Anyone else experience something like this in the early days of imposition?

Just keep working on it, I'd say. Practice makes perfect.

My Tulpa is imposed with no hallucinations yet, and we are not working actively on it right now. But it happens to us too, sometimes. Like I know She followed me into a room, but for some reason my mind is making me think She's still outside. So I'm getting confused with the contradicting feelings. If that happens, yeah, I do some gentle parroting, enough to make my mind understand where She is. She has no problems with that and it feels right to me, maybe someone else has a different opinion.

 

Almost everyday it gets noticeably easier to tell where She is and what She's doing, so I guess it's working.

 

I also noticed that if She's in one spot for a longer time and then moves away, I'm left with a "phantom" of sorts. For the first few seconds it feels like She's in two places, but the phantom's presence slowly fades.

Cool, happy to see this is not an uncommon thing, will keep working through it.
