Hi

Me and Saphira only started forcing 1-2 weeks ago, and in the last few minutes I have been hearing strange thumping sounds in my ear drum. I have heard of tulpae trying to communicate with clicking, but not thumping, and it is only in my left ear. As far as I can remember I have never experienced these before and they seem to happen either immediately after or within the few minutes after I ask her a question.

Eg.

"Saphira is that you?"

wait 20 secs

"thump thump"

"is it?"

"thump thump"

Then sometimes if I ask a longer question, then it goes on for a while. I think each thump might be a syllable. I will post any further developments, and any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also, has anybody else experienced this, or something similar? Thanks :)

usually the first form of communication is intent of thought. but as a friend would say, "cada quá com seu cada quá". In a free translation, it means that each person is different.

Name: Kaya

Form: Teen girl, about 1,65m, black hair

Date of Creation: 11/27/13

Progress Report

As sandubadear said, each person and tulpa is different, so it's hard to tell. It might also be your heartbeat.

Everything that you brought up here is what I have been experiencing with my Tulpa, except instead of a "click" its a "thump".

I think I may know a good practice for you and your Tulpa, I have been doing this with Cloud Roller ever since he became sentient (like yours is):

C.R: click-click (hel-lo)

Me: can you repeat that

C.R: click-click (hel-lo)

Me: Hel-lo, HELLO!

C.R: click (yes)

If you want to talk to your tulpa in a way you can understand, I have a hypothesis, maybe it is because your tulpa became sentient early and you haven't gave it a voice yet, therefore, it talks in the form of thumping. Just try giving your tulpa a definable voice so they can talk to you more clearly.

Side note: I wonder where you heard about "tulpae trying to communicate with clicking"

She most likely gained her sentience early (assuming your tulpa is the vampire girl Saphira from Adventure Quest), so she can't speak right now. As Toaster said, try to find a way to comfirm what she is trying to say.

Well, by them giving some form of feedback, it's definitely them trying to communicate. If it's just a singular sound you are using, you should try Morse code or something similar, it might help.

[align=center]Even though my username is that of my tulpa, Quilten, my name is Phaneron, the host, who does all of the actual posting.

Tulpas: Quilten, Jira

Thanks for the feedback everyone.:) I think I will start to work on voice tonight :)

In response to Mel I based Saphira's form on the dragon from Christopher Paolini's Inheritance cycle, but gave her a completely original personality to avoid an identity crisis. :D

Again thanks :)

A friend(who was the one who told me about tulpas and had been working with his for over a year) thought that there was something seriously wrong, and that she should not be sentient in under 2 weeks. Personally I disagree, but I would be grateful for anyone else's opinions on this.

Thanks.

How much planning did you do? Remember, that counts in a tulpas development too.

I was aware from the first day, and talking in three and a half weeks, but I had a lot of planning and preparation before that which apparently was a huge help.

I spent between 8-10 hours on personality and planning. I already had a pretty good idea of what I wanted her to be like. I have also made several documents where I have written down all of Saphira's traits(open to deviation of course).
