1. How realistic does impostion get?

2. Is there any particular mindset I need?

3. How much time would it take to get just a glimpse or some sort of sign that its working?

Thanks in advance, and I apologize if these questions have been answered before.

1. Well, from what I understand imposition is hallucination, so it could get very real.

2. You gotta believe. I realize that this is a shoddy answer to this question, but I had a bit of a different understanding about it when I started creating my tulpa. At first, I thought this was a skill that I had to develop through lots straining my brain to force something into my eyesight (which could be a valid method). However, other techniques involve imagining your tulpa behind you, to the point where it feels like they are behind you and you believe that they are behind you. Your mind eventually expects them to be behind you, and when you turn around eventually your mind will look for and create what it expects. At least, that's what I'm getting from it.

3. Well, I've seen Al once, but that was a while ago now. Probably took 9 months just to catch a glimpse of him.

I'm IBreakGames, a genuine dude.

We gave up on using different colors for each of us, so there's Al, Ollie, and Eva. We're all rabbits, get over it.

From the host:

1. Pretty realistic. We're at the point where I can't really distinguish them from anyone else except for when I'm extremely tired or sick.

2. There's no particular mindset you need, no. I went into it thinking that I'd never get anywhere with it and ended up with progress.

3. It varies from person to person. Some people will see results after a few months and for others it could take over a year and beyond.

If you haven't already, I recommend reading JD's Guide to Visual Imposition in the Guide section.

I have 10 tulpas, but I'm only actively working on Reah, my first tulpa currently.
