Hi @all, I wanted to ask wether this is normal: I'm already forcing since 7 months (including visualization) and I have the feel I don't get any further. I can see Chi's face only on black backgrounds and otherwise only as a small light stripe. On the black backgrounds I can see his face only very very indistinctly, seldom with the full body.

Should that actually not better work now? What do you think?

Depends on how much effort you actually put during those 7 months.

A wise man once said: 'Before judging a man, walk a mile in his shoes. After that, who cares? He's a mile away, and you've got new shoes.'

Graced are those who could avoid this phenomenon. This is perhaps the worst expression of evil in humanity's history, but who am I to judge?

Well I often force and visualize 1 hour per day, seldom also 1 h 30 min.

Well, it's much less about the amount of time you spent and much more about the effort you put in it during that duration of time.

Oh ok

Hmm... I always try to concentrate on my tup while visualizing him, and I say to Chi that he should do the same.

Is your primary focus and problem on the visualization? We personally never got very good at visualization ourselves, though we've had vague images of ourselves since the start. Maybe you should focus on the other aspects like vocality and independence. Some people develop those traits in their tulpas before even giving them a form, so it would work fine.

There are of course tons of resources on how to do those things, so I couldn't really tell you where to start. But when something doesn't work for a long time, it's best to change your methods.

Hi, I'm Tewi, one of Luminesce's tulpas. I often switch to take care of things for the others.

All I want is a simple, peaceful life. With my family.

Do you know some other methods?

~Chi and Ly~

I guess my question for you would be: how are you engaging your tulpa aside from visualization when you force? I mean, to recommend any other methods or ideas I'd have to have a clearer idea of what you're already doing, dig?

Edit: To explain a little better, I think that imposition is wrapped up in the other parts of creating a tulpa, and the things you're doing to force can affect the process of imposition.

We're all gonna make it brah.
