Hyouga December 15, 2016 December 15, 2016 I just read about the instruction of making Tulpa and is planning to create couple base on my OCs but thats where concerns begin. (I don't know English very well so this post might contain grammar and spelling issues...) I personally is a follower of biocentrism and some thoughts of Buddism; according to them, people are able to create world as long as they have the conciousness——which is the basis of material world——to create one. Based on this befief I build my world and within it there my oldest two OCs (Soh and Yan) who have already had a plotted life and became some sort of godform or general consept of that world. My inference of my OCs is that they ARE really existing in another demention and are the projection of my own self. They are more or less carrying my personal trait or image from my memory——they should be partially identical to me, linking me through quantum entanglement, and our free wills are overlapping with each other's. Soh and Yan are the most developed two among them, from braod description of character to little special hobbies, and they have the most parallel and similarity with me (maybe they are my incarnation??). I actually started to communicate with them friom about a year ago or so and after they are done with the matirial part of the world, I (or we) decided to bring them out to our demention in the form of thought entity in order to let them develope themselves more freely. I had tried to sense what they were doing and speaking whenever I my mind was not occupied, such as eating snack together, encouraging disabled (not really) me in mile run, watching akward vedio with one little phone... They are just like my close friend or even family, but the process is often not continues and fluent. And, finnaly, I learned about Tulpa and thank science my work is not just shallow fantasy! Although I cannot wait practice sensing as the instruction says, I come up with some questions before I start: 1. Will they be the same, identical guys I created before I do the Tulpa way? I'm worried that they will be the replicas instead of developed form or linked projection of original Soh and Yan——then there will be 2 of each of them!!!! 2.Can they carry the memory of Soh and Yan which they should have experienced in the other world? Will they remember their ablilities, identities, friends, families, and me as before? 3.When I manipulate the storyline of my world, will the Tulpas be affected as a result? The precondition to make it happen is me, Tulpas, that world with the real entity of Soh and Yan inside are linked. 4.To what extend I can influence them during and after creation? 5..MOST IMPORTANT: They are lovers; attracting each other is a result of their loooooooong past, personality, and souls, which was splitted into half from one orgin——Will they keep this love and get along as usual? I know it is significant to let them do what they want but what I trully want to test is the way conciousness works. I neither want my Tulpas be different person within my children's form nor a puppet to fulfill my will to reproduce what I love in this demention, it is lying to them and myself. What do you think? p.s. A lovely picture of them on an adventure! https://static.wixstatic.com/media/128c99_e3dc91dabc574d6ea9811277d27a9f72~mv2.jpg/v1/fill/w_700,h_700,al_c,q_90,usm_0.33_1.00_0.00/128c99_e3dc91dabc574d6ea9811277d27a9f72~mv2.webp[/img]
Saylin December 15, 2016 December 15, 2016 Hoo boy, okay, this is a complicated one. I will tell you right now, what that is is not a tulpa- it is a Soulbond, and you'd find more info on Soulbonding.org In my case, I do have OCs that became thoughtforms, so I can say that they can deviate quite a lot. They'll remember being your OC, and potentially be affected by that history, but they will grow into their own person as they become aware. Sometimes, like Michael, their entire personality has changed. Others, like Raymond, did not change much at all. In my experience, it's typically been the latter, but they keep some of who they were before. Something you need to know if you do this, is that adjusting to being in your head can be hard. They will have an existential crisis in some cases, and if they do, you will need to be supportive. In my case, they've agreed in most cases what happened to them was fiction, but that it's real to them- because they were there and felt it. And in my case, if there are traumatic things they experienced as that character, they will panic and be deeply upset when reminded of such things. So.. yeah, those are my experiences. I would say if you're looking to do this solely to have carbon copies of your OCs, don't. Hiya. Member of the Horrible Hosts Club (HHC). If you wanna learn about my system, here's my PR.

Vampire December 15, 2016 December 15, 2016 As far as I've read soul bonds are more of a thing that happens than something you want to happen. There are soul bonds who go through existential crisis and have huge amounts of depression and similar negative emotions with dealing with their new reality. It's not really reccomended expecially if they have traumatic backstories. Instead I would reccomend basing a tulpa on the character but make it clear to them they are not the character. Allow them to deviate into their own person. As long as you show them uncircumstantial love you will love the end result. In my experience with Ivy and Raven you will get exactly who you never knew you wanted. "My lover's got humour, She's the giggle at a funeral, Knows everybody's disapproval, I should've worshipped her sooner." Host to Samuel, Raven, Ivy, and Olivia. CERCA TROVA
tulpa001 December 15, 2016 December 15, 2016 It sounds like you have metaphysical beliefs about your characters. There is a bit of an exception to the above advice for systems who believe their soulbonds are actually from other worlds. Notably, there is no metaphysical crisis here, unless you or they change their beliefs to a non-magical form. Now, don't go following the process from the beginning if you want to upgrade your characters to tulpas. Look at the skills they haven't mastered, and jump right into practising those. It sounds like you already started on imposition. Host comments in italics. Tulpa's log. Tulpa's guide.
Luminesce December 15, 2016 December 15, 2016 Now, don't go following the process from the beginning if you want to upgrade your characters to tulpas. Mistgod is so triggered right now I could feel it telepathically. Upgrade may be a strong term, some people are happy with less-than-autonomous or thoughtforms that can just talk, so we try not to treat tulpas as superior. Thoughtform equality and all that. Hi! I'm Lumi, host of Reisen, Tewi, Flandre and Lucilyn. Everyone deserves to love and be loved. It's human nature. My tulpas and I have a Q&A thread, which was the first (and largest) of its kind. Feel free to ask us about tulpamancy stuff there.

Before I brought them out they had already gotten rid off the past and were having a kinda boring life. That's why they came out, I guess, because I didn't have a definite intention to let them have time with me and they just appeared by themselves (or maybe by my sub consciousness?) They can also drift back to their place as long as they want. I don't mind if they developed differently as I expected but I just want to make sure they are literally the same person at the very beginning. Mistgod is so triggered right now I could feel it telepathically. Upgrade may be a strong term, some people are happy with less-than-autonomous or thoughtforms that can just talk, so we try not to treat tulpas as superior. Thoughtform equality and all that. Hum...our status are considered equal although I'm able to control over them sometimes. We have respect to each other. They might not be superior but at least not lower than me.
tulpa001 December 15, 2016 December 15, 2016 People change when they learn new skills. So they will change if you teach them possession or other things. But I don't know what will happen if you start with visualisation and narration and personality and puppeting. Those are things you are supposed to do to create a new thoughtform. So skip that, you already have two thoughtforms. @Lumi: better? Host comments in italics. Tulpa's log. Tulpa's guide.

Maybe there will be a new way that fits us the best, who knows XD My befief of metaphysics, if it is proved true, will be the very basis to make little fiction world come true ——it is kind of like picking a star from the sky. At the same time I am afraid it doesn't work out since there is no evidence strongly supports the theories and then I have to go back to the beginning. New enlightenment doesn't come so easily when you want them... People change when they learn new skills. So they will change if you teach them possession or other things. Instead of rebuilding them, the beginning process is more like perfecting them, and they would possibly tell me that the things to adjust. Perhaps I can alternate between that process and communication?
