TreachC July 20, 2015 July 20, 2015 So, what the title says. If one of your friends deemed your tulpa "imaginary friend shithead" or whatever.
Guest Anonymous July 20, 2015 July 20, 2015 I'd stop talking to them permanently. If they're my friends they know I don't tolerate trash talk about my tulpa.
sushi July 20, 2015 July 20, 2015 Well, none of my friends know about Fenchurch, nor do I think they ever will. So it seems pretty unlikely. "Some things have to be believed to be seen." - Ralph Hodgson
Tirisilex July 20, 2015 July 20, 2015 No one knows about me Tulpa as of yet. I would ask possibly demand respect otherwise. Don't believe the things I say just because I tell you.. Test these things and prove them to yourselves so that you know them to be true. ~The Buddha
Guest Anonymous July 20, 2015 July 20, 2015 I have been called "dangerous make believe" by someone in Davie's family. Davie has been called a faggot, a pedophile, and a man who wants to be a woman. It has come from mostly strangers on the internet and not so much close friends and family, who are a bit more tactful. On this site (in the forum and IRC chat) David has been called a faggot, pedophile, role player, liar, faker, and too old to have a tulpa. I have been called an attention whore, drama whore, rampant idiocy, forum cancer, toxic, pretentious and a joke. Only the term "role player" do we bear as a badge of honor. Words can be like daggers, they can be a poison or a drug. You have to find that inner strength to overcome them. It is hard for us sometimes. Davie is an easy target because he is so old and I am so cutesy and Kawaii and girly. Also, we are openly different and do our own thing and speak our minds.
FadingSpectrum July 20, 2015 July 20, 2015 I don't really think anyone would know about my tulpas in the first place. I'm a bit of a private person, and I know the world's full of people happy to verbally stab things they find suitable targets. Telling someone I have head-people would be painting a bullseye on my forehead. As a general rule, it's good to assume that any given person is verbally armed and potentially ready to fire. That said, if I did reveal my tulpas and if someone did act like that, I would reconsider my friendship with them. If they insulted my tulpa because the concept genuinely worried them, we could stay friends and I would make sure to stop bringing up my tulpas around them. If they did it to hurt us, they would be given the boot. I don't want another poisonous friendship ever again. A queer soulbonding system with tulpamantic influences.
glitchthe3rd July 21, 2015 July 21, 2015 My girls don't take kindly to people devaluing them, and neither do I. To them, they are no less real than a physical human, and I also believe that a tulpa is as much a person as any human being. So to deny their existence is rude at best and dangerous to their health at worst. "Science isn't about why, science is about why not?" -Cave Johnson Tulpae: Luna, Elise, Naomi My progress report
TreachC July 21, 2015 Author July 21, 2015 Thanks for the responses. I am going to tell my friends about Laythe.
Luminesce July 21, 2015 July 21, 2015 http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/your-waifu-is-shit My friends have done so purposely, multiple times. But I'm a pretty understanding person, so as much as my ego would love for me to be prideful, I know that they just wanted to poke fun at me. However, Reisen is too understanding and accepting for me to retaliate in any way shape or form on her behalf. She would only be disappointed in me if I were to argue with someone about who or what she is to me. That being said, Lucilyn would probably possess and fight them. In a cute sort of way. Hi! I'm Lumi, host of Reisen, Tewi, Flandre and Lucilyn. Everyone deserves to love and be loved. It's human nature. My tulpas and I have a Q&A thread, which was the first (and largest) of its kind. Feel free to ask us about tulpamancy stuff there.
