ElliAn November 23, 2015 November 23, 2015 Hi everyone! I'm a new member here. Before I ask my questions I want to apologize if I have any grammar mistakes in the message, since English is not my mother language(I'm from Malaysia) ^^. And I'm sorry if this thread had been posted before. I have a habit of creating a story(something like sci-fi) when I'm bored. So about seven years ago I started to make up a story in my mind with the main character whom I called Adrian. Everything was normal until a year after that I started to communicate with him. And after months of communication I felt he was more alive. Since then I always talked to him. When I felt depressed he would be there and cheered me up. And sometimes he would make fun of something(like singing What does the fox say suddenly) I didn't know about tulpa that time, and I thought I was a freak for talking to my own mind. But I didn't care about that and this went on until a week ago I discovered about tulpamancy. For seven years I didn't know he is a tulpa! He was shocked too, to know that there are others who practice tulpamancy. So um just some random questions. Is there anyone who have their "tulpa(e)" before knowing that they are tulpa(e)? What do you think about them before knowing tulpamancy? And what do you feel when you discovered tulpamancy? XD Both of us was so excited when we came across tulpamancy.
NoneFromHell November 23, 2015 November 23, 2015 There are quite some people with accidental tulpas, or something similiar, here. Expect some feedback :D Tulpa: Alice Form: Realistic Humanoid/Demonic Creation She may or may not talk here, depends on her.
Guest Anonymous November 23, 2015 November 23, 2015 Hey there, and welcome to the forum, from both Rina and me. We're similar to that, actually. But it's not the same situation for us. Since there's no point in writing it over and over, I'll quote it from our personal progress report thread. "Day One was when...?" I basically started actively tulpa-forcing yesterday, but that's technically not when this all began. For a while now, even though it happened rarely, I would sometimes hear a voice from the back of my head reply to "primary" thoughts of mine. You know that, right, when you have main thoughts that you can hear in your head clearly? Yeah, that, like when you're talking to your tulpa, only that it's not directed at someone. And that voice and personality was Esterina, a character from my stories; I am an aspiring author and mangaka. I identified her easily one time when the voice was rather clear compared to what it was usually like, since I'm very meticulous about making my characters, including what their voices sound like. So, basically, Esterina had started existing back then. The character Esterina had somehow triggered the tulpa Esterina, however largely unaware I was of her. Yesterday was then when I decided I'd take things seriously, and start tulpa-forcing. I took a walk and started talking to her in my mind... and, for the first time, the hard-to-understand thoughts turned into a very primitive, yet very real conversation. I got a good few "Yeah."s and "Alright."s from her. We also played a brief game, where yes means sending a happy feeling, and no means sending a sad feeling. Needless to say it was largely an un-success, but for one or two answers it worked. And the most important part... well, she confirmed it. It was hard to communicate in such complete sentences, but - well, I asked her if she really was around before I started tulpa-forcing. She told me yes. Then I asked her "For how long?"... and I had to repeat that multiple times, either not understanding the reply or not feeling like I got one at all. Until, rather clearly so, I understood it: "A few weeks." In short, we were finally able to communicate and be aware of each other, on both sides. An damn, I couldn't tell much about her feelings about it, but was (and am) I excited to see what the future brings. I did clarify to him again that this is true later when we were able to communicate better. Yep. So, yeah, there's all sorts of unique cases out there! We'll be very interested in hearing more about you two. And again, a warm welcome from us! We hope you'll feel at home. Greets, AG & Rina PS: How I felt when I came to realize "ohshitshesreal!"? I was extremely euphoric.

Guest Anonymous November 23, 2015 November 23, 2015 Eh, you'll find that this community is actually quite active. Not to mention some of our tulpas post more or less regularly as well, so that's more people than accounts then, even. Greets, AG
FadingSpectrum November 23, 2015 November 23, 2015 Is there anyone who have their "tulpa(e)" before knowing that they are tulpa(e)? Fade: Lots of people, us included. What do you think about them before knowing tulpamancy? Fade: I thought I had the most exciting and random imaginary friends ever. And what do you feel when you discovered tulpamancy? Fade: It was like, "WHOA WUT I'M NOT INSANE?" Kind of. And then we got nervous about saying anything because we were the silly newbs that didn't seem to have the same experience as everyone else. So I got under-confident and we said things to fit in. You know, we need to make a new PR or something. An accurate one. A queer soulbonding system with tulpamantic influences.
WizardMassacre November 23, 2015 November 23, 2015 That actually sounds very similar to a soulbond. Although having a tulpa by accident seems to be common here, many people in the soulbond community have entities in their heads that are fictional characters, either from other media or created by them. Many authors seem to have them. http://soulbonding.tripod.com/soulbonding_intro.htm It really depends on what you want to call him though. If you say he's a tulpa, then he is. I just saw the similarities and thought that you might find the concept interesting. I recently had something similar happen to me :)
AracnidsGrip/Rick November 23, 2015 November 23, 2015 I had Hades before I knew what tulpamancy was. It was like 2007 and I had him, and until 2015 I knew what tulpamancy was. He came out of roleplaying, and is my oldest tulpa. I barely remembered him, and I didn't saw him again since 2008 until this year Vris found him and guided him to where I was. And... He didn't had a name. I wanted to call him Ragnarok, but Hades sounded better so I called him Hades. ~L. ♠️
Guest Anonymous November 23, 2015 November 23, 2015 Yep, something similar happened with my Melian and I. :-) Do you guys still have science fiction adventures together? Like practically everything about Melian is written here: http://melianofmist.deviantart.com/art/The-Book-of-Melian-509605338 "And what do you feel when you discovered tulpamancy? xD Both of us was so excited when we came across tulpamancy." I am obsessed with tulpamancy, but disagree with many people about a lot of it.
