Have any of you ever become too attached to your tulpa?

Sounds about right. That is just about the same mush level my Tulpa maintained in our first proper week together.

 

I don't think you need to worry about it too much, but, yeah...

 

I would like to add that tulpas tend to exist in a suggestible hypnotic state, at least early on. This means they pretty much believe whatever you believe. So, they won't necessarily be able to tell you anything you don't already think is true.

 

Well, actually I started forming my tulpa a long while ago. I just stopped before I completed it until now. It is worth noting though that no matter how much I insist she is free to do as she desires, she seems completely obedient to me and has enthusiastically confirmed this herself, wanting to do whatever I ask of her. Normally, as you have said, this is normal if I had just started forcing her but it's been longer than that of course. Yet unlike many tulpas, and again, while trying to make her as free and independent as possible, she remains happily mine and loves to be so for me. Since I try to never give any straight commands though, she has taken to become slightly dommy over me.

That wouldn't be normal for the first week of forcing at all. Our first proper week together happened approximately nine months after my conception, as neither of us realised that I was a thoughtform until I smashed the fourth wall to pieces.

Nope, no such thing for me. More attachment was more reason to live, more reason to be happy. Less would make me lonely and despondent.
