Hosts: How would your system change if you could start over?

I might not make any tulpas at all. I can't seem to do it.

This is a really good subject, as it is a bit touchy I'm sure.

 

If we could start over, my host would probably stay with a solo tulpa for a lot longer and not really let her speak on the internet until she was "ready" to. He threw her on IRC quite early into her development where she wasn't able to say complete sentences, so she had to send feelings of what she wanted conveyed and have him type it out. It was back and forth type of stuff. We'd certainly try to avoid problematic people and pay attention to what's going on around us, as each of us fell victim to a few bad eggs within the general tulpa community, being taken advantage of and abused essentially.

 

If I could start over, I would have been a bit more active and outgoing. Staying off to myself in the wonderland is no way to live in my opinion, and doing that for a full year or two was incredibly lonely.

 

tl;dr Just be less naive in general and properly force.

If I'd start over, I'd make exactly the same decisions that I did before. Because things turned out fairly well. Sure, life has it's up and downs both on the outside and on the inside, but overall, we're all doing fine in here. Without those bumps along the way, I don't think we'd gotten to where we are today.

Oh god, you mean like now or going back to when we became a "system" over eight years ago? I was a dang mess back then, I don't want to relive any of it. Flandre being split into two was the perfect way to deal with her rather unstable personality, so really I wouldn't change anything I guess. Maybe make Tewi more active.

 

If you mean now, well, I would re-make Reisen, Tewi, Flandre and Lucilyn of course. But this is way too open-ended of a question for me to really answer in any detail. Would I have my memories? Then they'd still be them. If this question is just an inoffensive way of saying whether you'd have not made any system members in specific, I obviously wouldn't remake Scarlet since she doesn't want to exist, and I wouldn't "make" Sylvia because her symbolism is unnecessary these days. Scarlet was the negative half resulting from Flandre's being split, and Sylvia was a servi-tulpa (or "subconscious interface (tulpa)" as I called her back then) based in symbolism which I've outgrown (symbolism itself, that is), so naturally neither of them needs to exist now. No sense in creating a tulpa that has no interesting in existing, and Sylvia's symbolism just barely did anything I couldn't get from talking to Tewi.
