I feel like this whole pen-pal deal could be just as easily done with the forum's PM system but... ah what the hay.

That's a pretty simple idea

 

But I remembered that there was a reason why they didn't use the pm. What the reason was, though, is not in my memory.

The only reason I could fathom is that either PMs don't look as atractive, or people are less aware of how to use them... and I guess the PM inbox's memory, to my knowledge, isn't very large, but to be honest it's a little simpler to use. Depending on the individual and actual e-mail address anywho.

 

That's my guess.

 

I mean, I see where a preference for e-mail is coming from, but at the same time, PM seems easier or at least just as easy.
