I've visuallized an appearance for my Tulpa, Pink Cake, given her a personality and sentience and we do many things together. What I'm aiming to do now is see her as if she was really there. I've read many guides on imposition, yet I never seem to have the time to do most of them regularly. What's the best imposition method for someone who's busy and has little patience?

Imagine a brick on a table.

Can you see it?

Good, now imagine your tulpa there instead.

You don't see it like a full-on hallucination.

Starting imposition = visualization outside the wonderland. If you can imagine anything in real space, you can impose your tulpa. They're not going to appear very vivid at first, that will only come with tons of practice. However, the important part is just having them be there and interact with you and the environment, and that's much easier. Just visualize your tulpa next to you, and have them follow you around throughout your day, any time you're not distracted. If you're sitting in a room, have them wander around and look at things (it helps to have them actually doing things instead of just sitting/standing there). Try to maintain at least some awareness of them at all times. If they vanish, just put them back. Eventually they'll reach a point where they can continue being imposed without you having to focus on them. It's really not "time consuming" at all since you just have to remember they're there while you're doing whatever.

Things I've found that help:

1) If you're tulpa is interested in what you're doing, and therefore wants to be present for it, it may motivate them to appear on their own, try to stay present, and be more active. They tend to disappear more often when they're not doing anything.

2) Set up a space for your tulpa in places you spend a lot of time in, such as a chair by your desk. If you keep imposing your tulpa there, eventually they'll automatically appear there whenever you see the chair.

Yes you do.

Not only voice can seem like it comes from reality, you can learn to impose your tulpa’s form, which will allow you to see it as if it’s physically there, despite that it still is in your mind.

I'm working on imposition too.

Unfortunately, hallucinating consistently and persistently for someone who doesn't without narcotic aid is difficult. There is no easy way. That said, here are a few tips:

- Put your back into it. Really, don't just do the passive thing because that'll take ages at best and never work at worst.

- Don't just follow guides. Only you can tell what's best for yourself, so find and create methods that work for you.

Also to add on to what waffles stated:

- Try to understand and heavily consider the reasons of why you're trying to impose your tulpa. If you're more focused on getting your instant gratification requirements instead by just memorizing techniques, you only scratched the surface of what this is all about. And I understand that anyone would naturally want to find minimalist ways of getting the same result (because all methods are simply routes towards the same goal), but just see them as supplements. There's no one-size-fits-all guide or set of guides. If there's one thing that they teach you, is that if you keep practicing having undying faith for your tulpa and foreseeing success with them, you will succeed.

I've read enough guides to know that's bullsh**.

There's imposing and bringing the tulpa out of the wonderland, you're referring to the latter.

Imposition is full on sensory detection
