Huh, that's actually kind of nostalgic. I have not played a Touhou game for a long time, nor have I even played too many STGs lately, aside from smaller offerings like Danmaku Death and the Mobile port of Gunbird 2. I remember reaching Eirin once upon a time, but I am not sure if it was under optimal conditions (e.i. my computer was actually strong enough to run the game and wasn't halving the game speed, which would make it much easier than it's meant to be). Tewi September 15, 2016 September 15, 2016 Never appreciated her fanon depictions. There are some that cling to her history of being in the military and being canonically proficient with actual guns, and that's not great either. She's a fairly level-headed person serving under the genius of the moon, similarly exiled from ever returning to it. She also lost a lot of her memories travelling to Earth. Inaba of the Moon and Inaba of the Earth is not canon either. Tewi's a rabbit who lived "an unnaturally long time" by "taking good care of her health" and has become the leader of the forest's rabbits. Aside from overseeing the rabbits in their full moon festivals worshiping Lord Daikoku, she doesn't do much but watch those around her. With some ex-lunarians (a princess of the moon and its effective leader) living in the forest as of recent years, it's surprising she manages to keep a decent of understanding on what's going on, but I assume she does it to make sure her and the rabbits remain safe. If she has an actual gun and uses bullet/butt-stuff shaped projectiles, wouldn't it make sense to be inclusive of the military aesthetic?
